Final Fantasy XIII PS3, 360 Differences =)

99% of the people here are either fanboys/girls to the 360 or PS3...

Personally I've owned both, I'm currently sitting on a PS3 though. I don't see the problem with releasing games to both consoles, I'd prefer them doing that so they can cash in more money and develop even better games in the future? :/

Pure logic, as for the people whining on the 360 for its discs and keeps saying the "DVD"...it's not DVD, it's HD-DVD. There is a huge diffrence in both quality and reading-speed.

and what does it matter that the PS3 is blu-ray when there's basically no game in 1080P at all (there are ofc some)? It might be better in the future, which is the reason I switched mah 360 for a PS3, the 360 is 1 year older and therefor will oudate faster.

Ima probably get a 360 again though, when I can afford it...Gears of war <3

ha ha ha same here i own all 3 right now and never been happier but when it comes down to it i guess i will probably buy it for the ps3 since i am to lazy to disc swap and my xbox for some reason is scratching the hell out of my disc.

lol I own all 3 personally myself but the main thing I use my ps3 for is to watch blue ray movies. I like the 360 controller better than the ps3 one just because it feels more comfortable. As for the FFXIII decision I prob will buy it for the ps3 since it was originally made for it and then ported over to the 360. I just wish microsoft didnt pay them off to not release the ps3 version until the 360 one was ready... We couldve been playing it already months ago seeing as how the ps3 version was nearly complete like 2 years ago. As for the sound, the only way you r telling the difference is if you are not usiong your tv to deliver the sound to you... most tvs are absolute trash in terms of sound setups. Also unless there is a different frame rate for the 2 consoles i doubt you will notice the difference in visuals unless u have a tv that is 50"+. in which case if u look hard enough u may be able to tell.

360 only use regular dual layer DVD for games and supports HD-DVD for movies with the use of the external drive.
Also HD-DVD doesn't exist anymore that's why microsoft used netflix instead.

Speaking of Final Fantasy. I watched the new trailer and thought it kind of sucked, lol (the trailer, not the game). The song by Leona Lewis just didn't seem to fit with the trailer very well.

I'm not going to waste my time jumping into which system is better, for they both have their good and bad points, so lets' just leave it at that. But I'm pretty sure that when the game comes out it will have record breaking sells on both systems. In fact the only system that I don't think it would sell to well on is the Wii.

I didn't know it was coming out for 360. Doesn't really bother me at all. I got my PS3 for Metal Gear Solid 4. Getting FFXIII on it was just an extra bonus.

P.S. I got the Japanese import and the game was well worth the wait.

1 or 2 Blu Ray discs vs 8 or 10 DVD's. Other than that you've got about the same effect.

@Mythikus FYI: The PS3 version of Final Fantasy XIII will have an option for "Original" Japanese voice-over dialog in game. The XBOX version of FF XIII will not because of Limited space. They have to use alot of discs for XBOX version. If they added Japanese voice-over they would problably have to add 1 or 2 more Game discs. The foolish gamer who gets the XBOX version of FF XIII might be in the middle of a BOSS fight. All of a sudden they stare at a blank TV screen and a bright "Red Ring of Death" Shining from the XBOX. A PS3 would never shut down or break down for any reason under normal use in a ventillated location. SONY has smart engineers and alot of experience with all forms of electronic products. You can see this by looking at the impressive redesigned PS3 revealed at E3 2009.

P.S. SONY showed the world at E3 2009 why their products are superior and are the Previous-Gen console War Gold Medal Champion.

@JRPG_anbu - Ouch that was harsh. I don't even own a 360, and still I think that sounded harsh.
