Seeing as how there was a canucks topic, I figured this was due.

Let's be honest here, there hasn't been a playoff appearance since the lockout and its been 42 years and counting since the last Stanley Cup.

The Leafs probably won't get any better since MLSE makes money regardless of the team's record.
That aside how 'bout that Phil Kessel?

Surprisingly the Raptors are getting better. Consecutive wins and playing hard, but the same can't be said for the Leafs.

Phil Kessel hasn't registered a point in a while and I think we're still without a captain, no?

We used to be able to at least make the playoffs and now we're stuck near the bottom. Aside from Kessel, Stajan, Kaberle, and our useless goalie Toskala, I really can't identify our Leafs players anymore. What on earth happened to the time when our roster was made out of captains and former captains? Sundin, Francis, Leetch, Nolan, etc.

Even though I'm a Leafs fan, I still have to say it, we won't be a Cup-contending team for a very very long time.

I have a question, how do you guys really feel about Burke trading your 2010 First and Second Rounders + 2011 one for Phil Kessel? I mean Tyler Seguin and Jared Knight, and possibly Sean Courtier or Adam Larsson.
