from the anime perspective it really is similar but the bounto arc is a filler though and can't be found at the manga...but in yuyu the territory gys were there...i just find the plots that were said to be coincidence....

i maybe disliked 4 sayin dis but i think that dragon ball is the basis for a lot of superpower animes such as bleach and others.
it dose not matter if there a little similar, it still dose not take away how good they are Separately.  |

yu yu hakusho is good and whoever says no is lame.. although watched a dubbed version in cantonese save to say 2x better than sub/dub in english but might be because who i am. secondly did watch bleach but gave up after 108 eps.. so guess ppl do have different tastes. i mean if the 2 were similiar u would expect ppl who like YYH to like Bleach too..
obv. not true so why debate, was nice to read what ppl wrote though =P

I like both of these animes and yeah their pretty similar and both are good...but i can't say that Bleach "STOLE" YuYuhakusho plot

I have noticed in other animaes such as elemental gelade the main character get a major power and then despite what he would get from using that power he tries the best not to use it and fight himself on his own accord ..
this is exactly the same thing that happends in Fate stay night he gets a servent thats suppoed to fight for him who is immensly more powerfull but no would rather fight himself then use it are they idots or were they dropped on their heads as kids both of them..
Another thing to note that in both of the animaes the main character is a Male who just happens to get a Female weapon i mean hello obvious anyone?
