I can only shrivel up in fear at what my friend said "Your 20th is gonna be massive Sasha"
Umm ok sounds....fun. I'm going to get shitfaced aren't I? -__- They'll probably hold me down and feed me the booze through a fucking funnel.

No, I hate my birthday...
The words that best describe my life are, "No Good Deed Goes Unpunished."
My bad luck is multiplied on that day, and any good deeds I do are rewarded with more bad things...

It is well known that God hates Pagans and their religion etc. Hmm. I know a few pagans, startling fact for you - a lot of modern day Christian festivals are derived from and often in place of traditional/original Pagan festivals.
I'm an atheist personally speaking (though I have nothing against religion per se...so long as it leaves me to my hedonistic lifestyle as I see fit).
I celebrate my birthday if it seems worth celebrating. If my family's being happy I'll probably take them out for a few beers and let them treat me to a steak, if not, I'll stay home get ratted on red wine and cook myself something nice. It's nice when I have friends about to celebrate with, but its not necessary. One year my Birthday celebration was entirely online...had my clan chasing me around with shotguns for 3 hours, was really fun as geeky as that sounds - we all had a laugh sat there and got ratted and treated it as if it was a lan party.
That said, I really shouldn't celebrate Christmas (although most years its going through the motions now - I treat it more as an extension to the end of the year) - the family obligations, like giving them presents and drinking their Creme de Menthe (thankyou grandma :D) and falling sleep on the comfiest sofa. Not so much about the big G as it is about seeing my family and appreciating them! (and avoiding my little cousins if I can manage that...)

I don't really think celebrating a birthday is necessary, or at least it's not as important as society makes it out to be. My family just go out and buy me a cake and we eat it and I get a present.

Hm, somewhat? It's not so much a birthday celebration as it is an excuse to get to hang out with my friend for the day or something, since it's usually difficult, and I'm usually allowed off school, which is a nice little sleep in. I'll get presents, from parents and whatnot, but asides that I'll just get a reason to have a sleep over or something, since my best friend lives a bit further so it's hard to see her much.
