Yeah I noticed that too... Birthdays have nothing to do with religion or anything like that. Another year of living is worth celebrating! I celebrate mine all month long and damn proud of doing so. So be grateful you're not six feet under and forgotten.

Well either way its just another day, nothing really special at all. Its not like a significant change happens over a day.
