I'm taking a guess and saying that the characters are 12 (except Yaya and Kairi, who are younger) and Ikuto is 17 (as far as I know, he hasn't had his birthday in the manga yet)

Well, here is everyone's birthdays:
Amu: 9/24
Ikuto: 12/1
Tadase: 3/?
Nadehiko: 7/4
Rima: 2/6
Yaya: 5/25
Kukai: 8/17
Utau: 11/9
In the manga now, Amu and the Guardians are about 12. And Ikuto is 17. However, if we were following real time, Ikuto would be 18, Amu and Nadehiko would be 13, Kukai would be 14, and I don't know about the rest of them. That's what I think anyway. And I don't know Kairi's birthday, so he's not up there.

He's younger than Yaya, so if everyone is 12 and Yaya is younger than them by one year (that makes her 11), Kairi must be 10

I think that sounds right. Except I think that Rima and Tadase would still be 12 until their birthdays passed. Also wouldn't Utau be 17? Her birthday just passed in November and at the beginning of the series she was 14 and Amu was 10 which makes her 4 years older than Amu. So when Amu is 13 she would be 17. I think...
