A combination Turtling and Zoning (I build outpost near enemy base to zone them out for a bit) Then build columns of siege tanks and Battlecruisers. I don't like rushing techniques too much, it ends games quickly and I don't like ending games too early (that's just for me though)

Protoss: Dragoon rush, stall for Carriers.
Terran: Vulture + Siege Tank rush, Goliaths for anti-air
Zerg: Zergling rush, stall for mass Mutalisks

I mostly play Protoss.

Reaver drops own if the opponent doesnt have any good defences near their mineral field.
Otherwise I try to use a tactic of sending in Zealots with Dragoons first then sneak my Dark Templars in near their Command Center/Nexus/Hatchery. Then all Hell breaks loose.

I hadn't played for so many years, but for the past week, I been watching SC battles on CR and I'm itching for a match...lol

Zealots rush is always good at the beginning. Reaver drops are still pretty awesome, it can cause major pain.

step 1: mass zerglings, research burrow, make false base, get devourer.
step 2: make nydus canal outside enemy base.
step 3: make a base with only towers, but not main base.
step 4: lure enemy with around 10 zerglings to your tower base.
step 5: burrow remaining zerglings in enemy base.
step 6: hide devourer near enemy base.
step 7: attack with low amount of hydralisks in a frontal assault on enemy base.
step 8: as soon as enemy moves to attack hydras, unburrow zerglings underneath them.
step 9: watch as the enemy gets completely obliterated.
step 10: for the swarm.

It's all about managing your offense and your tech. Make sure that while your attacking your also preparing the next assault and never let up or give your opponent time to rebuild or escape.

with zerg I enjoy simple ling/hydra rushes until I can afford mutas and then mutalisk hit and runs on supplies and resources while they desperately defend that area until I've amassed an army large enough to just wipe them out.

In Zerg... My favorite strategy on defense is creating a Zerg Pool instantly then create many zerglings as I can and try to upgrade the Burrow Ability then I burrow them around my base then if the enemy is incoming, I just annihilate em with the ambush of ma zerglings~

Reading your strategies bring back memories though i'm kind of surprise nobody mentionned defences cause I mean your strategies are good and all but they wouldn't be able to break through any good players defences out there. And by the way, a simple rush is stupid and is wasting money it's the best way to loose if you play against anyone that knows the meaning of strategies. I can own a map in 6 minutes or less so by the time your done with your little rush i'll have nice carriers going for your ressources or guardian and mutas owning your base ^^.

Well I'll give you one quick tip for every race: money, money, money. One Nexus is NEVER enough you cannot produce probes fast enough with one to own everyone. Build at least three. But before you do anything defend against Rush and mineral destroyers strategist I mean do def near your ressources and please not just one that's a joke. You wanna build faster try to know when to start defending and when to start collecting like hell. I can mount 15000 mineral in 30 sec or less depending if i'm playing against newbies or pros. Also know when to build vespine, you will mostly not need to build a structure for that until 1min 30 sec. so don't rush it or you'll just handicap yourself. Also know that you should never send more than 3 probes per vespine they will only stall and waste time if you don't trust me do the test you'll see. And for god's sake don't name a prob for building I know you guys does it, just take one and send it back.

Defence is up to you just make sur it stops ANYTHING from entering if you attack in air (Nexus is your best option), If you need units to pass than make sur to leave troops there. Buildings by themselves won't stop good players. Air units + resistant units that can block the way and be remove is actually Awesome for that. Of course never forget the sides of your base. Players with a brain will scout you're defence and try to find it's weakness. If you're like me you can even use a trap with that but that is another story. Know that you don't need an actually strong attack to destroy an ennemy, you just need to know when and how to hit.

For attack, you need to be able to play along with any cards, don't stick with a strategy at all cost, try to have back up plans witch mean never full your 200 units. Also don,t attack with A, this is just plain stupid, use little teams (commandos) of max 4-6 units for strong units and 8-10 for weaker units. Massive Attack are mostly this easiest to stop since you can't control everything that's going on at once.

Well I have a truckload of strategies but now i'll give you my secret recipy. It's not a miracle strategy but it's adaptable and I've got to admit, I've only been beaten by 2 players in my whole starcraft life and that's because I was beginning and I put my trust in players next to me.

Ok so basically I do 50-60 probes to collect and I have from 3 to 5 Nexus to collect. I always put defences near my most important buildings and I always double my buildings that enabled me to creat units. I Always upgrades Defences and Weapons as early as I can. I put Nexus in front, no not gateway they don't have enough resistance and they let ANYTHING through, it's just a bad idea. I double my pilons, always, I have 3 lines of cannons. I also keep mind control or templars at my base. No flying units can make it through a thunder storm plus cannons

As for the units, I use carriers, arbiters and detectors (the two last one are the most important) Recall isn't that important but have the freeze magic, ALWAYS. Oh and increase range and everything for the detectors. I use a shorcut for all my carrier, one for each of my arbiters and one for my detectors. Well deployed, detectors are the best scooters in the game. The first thing you should target it's the army with your arbiter. Freeze them, most players don't know how to defend even pros... Than fast, really fast, destroy the economy, if you can't make it under 30 seconds than, destroy what he needs to build it's army (like forge and all that thing). After that, or he'll leave, tell you your good, insult you or use a hack in which case he's a pathetic looser ;). Keep in mind that it's better to manage a maximum of three team (commando) at a time. And keeping some arbiters home to recall might be a good idea as well. But like I said before, you need to be able to adapt and if you have at least two brain cells you'll notice patterns when people use one or another strategy, you can ALWAYS use that to your advantage.

Of course I have some strategies for Zerg and Terran as well but Protoss with their special powers have the most adaptive abilities next to terran. And always keep in mind, economy, production, defences are truly what matters. attack strategy is mostly the same with everyone: target with commandos, search for the flaw in your ennemy defence and never panic, a situation can always turn. Oh and don't be a sore looser, good ennemies can always become good friends. You never know.

When I play Terran, I do a civilian rush until the enemy runs out of ammo. For some reason, I run out of civilians first.

When I play Zerg, I send all of my drones to steal the enemy's resources. It's strange, they never come back.

When I play Protoss, I build a huge fleet of probes. So, the enemy can't find me. For some reason I can't get the probes to attack.
