In my family, we have a tradition of each person in the family of praising God in our own way before we open presents. Remember, this is Christ's birthday, even if Scholars suspect it is off by a couple months (Part of something I watched on the History channel the other day).
Christ is the true reason for the season. Never forget this, and always praise God first before opening your presents. Without him, there is no meaning behind Christmas. Without him, Christmas would be merely another day in our hellword bound Journey of life. But thanks to God, we don't have to fear, because he was born. He was born to a lowly carpenter family in the city of David beneath the roof of a dirty stable and placed in a manger. So, sing a song of praise to him, read the Christmas story with your family, make God a card or present or something. But remember, this is a celebration of his birth. |
