My Tets in the USA are actually alot of fun. Me and my dance group Lion Dance so i'm not really bored, tired, but not bored. ^-^

Yep, it was pretty fun! Me and my cousins gambled playing tien len, lol, and I won 40k from my siblings The food was plentiful and and everyone was in a good mood. we made candle lanterns out of nuoc dua and sent it down the river at night. happy times, good memories.

I haven't celebrate tet in Vietnam for 8 years! I was born there and celebrated it every year for my whole life until I was 6. It's probably the funnest moment in my life. I wish I could relive such joys again someday when I'm out of school. ^^

I like tet so much because I can spend a lot of time to make happy time with my family in tet. And I mustn't go to school in tet.

Nope, not really. My family we don't really do that since we came in the USA, because my dad is an American.

Haha yeah the "eating the same food for a week" is really annoying.
But i think Tet is more about the preparation if u know what i mean. The excitement is just in the air, people become happier and they r more in the mood for family/friend/co-workers bonding. It's weird :)) It's just a time for everyone to be happy and life is good again =))
Tet gives them excuse to let go of things. It's like "Hey did u do this and that and that?"..."Nah Tet is coming in 2 weeks, i dont care" =))
It's really fun :X
