Post Reply Why can girls dress like guys but guys cant dress like girls?

I still don't see why not. If one sex can, the other should be permitted to as well.

Just more society's bullshit. Though I wouldn't dress as a girl, myself. I just wish there were nicer clothes for men.

Aww no crossdressing or perhaps crossplay?

Me, I love male crossdressing when done well. I think it can be really sexy. I don't judge anyone who crossdresses or is transgendered, though.

I don't think it's that guys can't dress like girls, it's just that they won't. For the fact that guys dressing like girls is considered them to be gay, which in my opinion is not true at all.

They can, but it would look wrong if they had hairy legs. Or too much hair. But I don't see anything too wrong. Most guys probably don't want too.

These days so many styles are attempting to be avant-garde by incorporating once strictly male and female styles into a new blend for either sex. That doesn't mean there's no more distinctly male or female norms of clothing, in my opinion those normalcies are just being phased into another era of apparel.

There'll always be a marker for either gender. You just kinda have more categories now than before. Think of every type of person and their dominations, and orientation etc. Society has broadened it's understanding and absorption of all types of people and is now reflecting that in fashion.

You won't really find outright a male wearing a skirt or a female wearing a mans cologne. So in fact there are still things strictly either gender. The only person that would do the above are queens, butches or trans. That's acceptable.

And to be honest girls do have a bigger variety of things to wear than guys. So if you're a straight guy and live for fashion then it sucks to be you.

datte.,.,i think it cool for girls to wear those.,think of this its easy to move on those clothes and you don't have to be cautious or anything. also if the clothes fits well with you and ur comfortable with it then i don't think there is wrong with it. datte,,its your clothes right? if its just a matter of clothes, a person has their own rights to what they want to wear well unless ur wearing someone else clothes...also isn't it fun to try something new....

well,,its my opinion and personally i would much prefer guys clothes than girl clothes..datte,,,i look much cooler than those =p sumanai...what i mean i feel more comfortable with it.,datte..its fun to be a carefree person once in awhile....

though if wer going to talk about culture......... isn't that person's choice if he wants to deviates from the norm or not..in the end its still his responsibility......nee?

yeah they focus more on women because women loves to shop and more into fashion than men...most men don't take the time to look good i guess lol so why waste their time making stuff for men lol...u go to any fashion school and look at their portfolio to see what they design and like 98% of it is for women
