it's like what a couple of people said - societal/gender norms.
Though much progress has been made in terms of gender equality in some areas of the world (US is a good example), society in general is not yet ready to shed it's fogged glasses, and think freely.
More realistically speaking - most of the time there is a heavy pre-judgement of a person's character, according to their outward appearance. That is the direct cause of societal norms.

That's because guys who dress like girls are known as cross dressers.
Girls can get criticized too, I bet many mothers and/or fathers don't like their daughters dressing like a guy.

if you saw a dude wearing a skirt, high heels, and tank, would you think he was a weirdo?
and if you saw a girl in jeans, sneakers, and a t shirt, would you think she's a weirdo?

I've been trying to figure this out myself.
I know it's due to societal norms, but it's just pretty stupid.
I mean obviously there are some things that you don't want to see guys wear, but I can't see that being a valid argument because they can dress equally disgusting without cross-dressing, and there is plenty of cross-dressing that wouldn't be disgusting like that.

because it's very awkward to see guy wear skirt coz... most of them have hairy leg and have a muscle so maybe it's very uncomfortable to see it
well or maybe sometimes girls got jealous when pretty guy wear skirt or long dress and they look pretty than girl
well, it's just awkward see guy wear girl stuff coz they are very gentle and manly so they prefer wear jeans and t-shirt or shirt
for me... I prefer wear jeans or short and T-shirt coz it make me comfortable and free, I can't be myself when I wear skirt it's just very awkward to me |
