The drama tells the story of Kim In Suh and Yoo Chae Hwa (Yoon Eun Hye) both are Koreans returning back to Korea after living in China. In Suh comes to Seoul to get the money for his sick fiance's medication while Chae Hwa comes to Seoul to escape loan sharks and to make a new successful life for her and her family. It was a happen chance when Chae Hwa stole In Suh's bag that they meet. They meet again shortly when In Suh moves in to the house next to Chae Hwa's. They get to know each other and In Suh learns of Chae Hwa's condition. In Suh feels his heart slowly moving towards Chae Hwa. Will he choose Chae Hwa or Yeon Ah, the fiance he left in China? And what about Chae Hwa? As she feels herself falling for In Suh, there is Kang Il--a man who loves her and who can be her ticket out of poverty.

This drama is a remake of the popular 1996 Chinese movie (Tian Mi Mi / Comrades: Almost A Love Story).
The movie spanned over 10 years following the lives of two mainlanders who migrated to Hong Kong. They were involved in a love affair while living their lonely lives in Hong Kong. They had to separate for a while but eventually found each other again in the US years later.
The drama will differ in the background as it is revealed that background location will be Korea, China and Japan.

Will Park Yong Ha's friends continue the role that he was supposed to star in?

There's a rising interest for the actor who will replace Park Young Ha in the drama Love Song.

Love Song, a remake project of Tian Mi Mi (1996) starring Leon Lai and Maggie Cheung, halted after the sudden death of the leading male actor Park Yong Ha in late June. Since the shocking event, Verdi Media has been in the process of looking for Yoon Eun Hye's new partner.

Presently, the top candidates are considered to be So Ji Sub, Ryu Si Won, and Won Bin, who are all Park Yong Ha's closest friends. Hence, there's a rising interest in who will continue the last project of the Hallyu star Park Yong Ha.

A member of the production team stated, "If we consider Park Yong Ha's international popularity, image, and etc. as a Hallyu star, it would be best if one of his closest colleague take his place. The choice would be a comfortable one for Yong Ha's fans, and it would be meaningful in a sense of completing his final project. But because his friends are all top stars, it's not easy to make the schedule fit. The person also may feel the pressure of replacing his friend."

The production team has set early August as the final decisions for the cast. They must begin filming before September at the latest in order to meet the schedule. This member stated, "We are at the final tuning stage of finding an actor who best fits Ms. Yoon Eun Hye."

Love Song will remake Tian Mi Mi, a movie which received lots of love in Asia including Korea.
It will be filmed in Korea, Japan, China, and it is currently negotiating with 11 countries for the broadcasting rights and investments. Writing will be done by Oh Soo Yeon of Winter Sonata and Autumn Love Story, while the director is Ji Young Soo of Oh Pil-seung Bong Soon-young and My Fair Lady.

Note

- Love Song will not totally follow the movie plot so dont expect it to be a movie replica.

Yoon Eun-hye makes drama comeback in Love Song

Yoon Eun Hye will be returning to television with new drama, Love Song! She will be playing the main female lead alongside Park Yong Ha in the drama version of the Hong Kong movie Tian Mi Mi.

Yoon Eun Hye will play Yoo Chae Hwa, an energetic young woman who returns to Korea from China. She at times lies to others, but deep inside, she is a very innocent woman who cannot forget her one true love.

According to sources, Yoon Eun Hye choose this project because she found the script and synopsis emotional and heart-moving, evoking the same feelings she felt when watching the original movie.

According to the production team, Yoon Eun Hye’s success in Goong, Coffee Prince, and My Fair Lady in Japan and other international markets has caused a stampede for the purchase of broadcast rights for the drama since her involvement was officially announced.

In Japan, there is much anticipation for the drama since Yoon Eun Hye and Park Yong Ha are big hallyu stars and they will be teaming up with writer Oh Soo Yun of Winter Sonata and Autum In My Heart. The director is Ji Young Soo, who directed Oh! Pil Seung And Bong Soon Young and Yoon Eun Hye’s last drama, My Fair Lady.

Eric and Jo Hyun Jae For Love Song?

Hallyu Stars Eric and Jo Hyun Jae will replace Park Yong Ha, who passed away last June, as the stars of the Love Song. Eric is currently serving the military service and will be released on the 22nd. Jo Hyun Jae finished his service and was released in past June. Both have decided on Love Song as their comeback project.

Eric and Jo Hyun Jae have recently completed the basic agreements for their involvement. Verdi Media has began negotiating with the TV station(s)for the final organization and broadcasting plans with the starting actress, Yoon Eun Hye, Eric & Jo Hyun Jae. Love Song was scheduled for broadcast on KBS, but due to Park Yong Ha's sudden death, planning and production halted. With Eric and Jo Hyun Jae in the fold, it seems that the production will speed up greatly.

A member of Verdi Media stated, "As both Eric and Jo Hyun Jae have established status as Hallyu stars, we expect them to be able to fulfill Park Yong Ha's place. It seems that we can go into filming as soon as we receive the broadcasting plans from the TV station and Eric is released from his military duties". Eric's agency, Top Class Entertainment's Choi Byung Min stated, "We plan to begin negotiating the details of the involvement once the broadcasting schedules are finalized." They are careful with their words as to delay confirmation until the broadcasting schedules are finalized.

Yoon Eun-hye officially says goodbye to Love Song

“It’s painful for us all.”

That’s what Yoon Eun-hye has to say about the fizzling of her drama project Love Song, which she has officially walked from. It’s not particularly surprising news, given that lead actor Park Yong-ha (Story of a Man, On Air) died shortly after accepting the role last year, leaving the production scrambling to find a replacement.

To her credit, Yoon Eun-hye stuck with the project for the past nine months (she’s rather known for her loyalty to her projects), but finally called it quits. She said, “Everyone feels pained over it. As an actor, though, I felt I couldn’t wait forever.”

Yoon also hinted that she’ll be choosing her next drama project soon, stating that she’s been looking at many synopses and is preparing for her television comeback. “I think I’ll be able to greet you all [in a drama] in May or June.”
