Benji opened the door to her room without a knock, he held an advanced math book in his arms. "I finished." Bennett straightened up and stood from her bed. "What that take you? 10 minutes?" Benji shrugged his shoulders and sat down on the chair pushed next to the desk. He waited as Bennett examined his math homework occasionally glancing at the math book. Five minutes later she tossed the book to Benji, with the homework paper tucked safely inside.

"Don't get why you have me check that crap, you got it all right."

Benji smiled and stood from the chair. "I just want to make sure." He left her room, shutting the door behind himself. Silence filled the room again. She had to do something. Anything. Her mind made a mental map of the city, she looked at all the shops and clubs. Nothing of interest. Her mind fell back to the boy at the ice-cream shop. Just who was he? Why was he so familiar? It was bugging the hell out of her.

She scanned his face, studied his nose, mouth, shape and color of his eyes, even his ears. Tried to match them up with every face she had seen. Her mind was like a criminal data system. No matches. She sighed and opened up her closet. It was a walk in, she had a hundred purses, thousands of shoes, millions of pants, and a gazillion shirts. She went into the very back of it and opened up her heavy security safe. She had some simple things in there. Her deceased mother's pearl necklace, a wad of cash, and her solid gold gun. She picked the gun up and stared at if for a bit. Thinking. She set it back in, closed the safe, and laid back down on her bed. She was bored.

The Boss Lady

"Hello. Is Coffee busy presently? I am here for the meeting."

"Um, hold on," a young woman said, before disappearing into the house.

A few seconds later, Coffee came to the door, looking very pissed. When she saw Demitris, she straightened out her expression.

"Uh. Hi. Meeting? What meeting?" Coffee said, giving him a blank look.

A few Taes laughed in the background.

"Oh, whatever. Come in," Coffee said, pulling him inside.

She led him towards an empty meeting room, and sat him down on one end of the table.

"Wait here," she instructed.

She then proceeded to head out of the room, and yell something in Korean. Then she came back, and took a seat on the opposite end of Demitris.

"Okay, so what was the meeting for?" she asked, trying not to seem rude and disinterested.

The Boss Man

Tris was bored. He really was. So, he decided to pay the Castillo's a visit. He got into his car, and arrived at the Castillo's in a matter of minutes. He walked up to the door, and rang the bell. He wondered if anyone would come. He really was bored.

simoneeee.

Simone awoke from her futon bed hearing the sounds of a car revving away.
She went and looked out the window of her room to see a car missing from the driveway.
She stretched a bit. "I guess the boss has left"
She washed up and changed into her training outfit which was similar to karate attire.

In the garden is where Simone trains. If it rains, she'll go inside one of the
many open rooms in the Achlys residence.
She sits in a meditative pose in the garden and shuts out the world.

Bennett sprung to life at the sound of the doorbell. She quickly looked down at herself, she was still wearing her nice clothes, had not yet changed into her pajamas. She pulled open her door and Benji was out too, getting ready to head down the stairs.

"Get back in your room bug." She grabbed him by the head and pushed him back into his room and shut the door. He stayed in there. She slid down the stairs via railing. The maid was almost answering the door when Bennett was down. "I got it." The maid retreated and Bennett pulled the door open. Standing in front of her was Tristan, or as she liked to call him: Tris.

"My savior!" She pouched on him, wrapped him in a hug. After a few seconds she released him and pulled him into the house. "Thank the holy mother," Bennett wasn't religious but she always made references toward it, "you stopped by, I was bored out of my mind." Her normal attitude released when Tris was around. She was not nearly as indifferent as usual.

"My savior!" She pouched on him, wrapped him in a hug.

"Whoa!" Tris laughed, hugging her back.

"Thank the holy mother you stopped by, I was bored out of my mind."

"Yes, be thankful. I, the mighty Tris has come to your rescue," he joked, winking.

"So, still stuck babysitting?" he asked. He knew how much Benny hated watching over Benji. After all, that little rascal had stolen her spot. He knew Benny was more than capable of being a good boss. But, it was up to her father in the end...

"Yes, be thankful. I, the mighty Tris has come to your rescue," he joked, winking.

She rolled her eyes and pulled him a bit further into the house. They had know each other for what seemed like forever. She had met him when she was five, he was eight at the time. She remember the day perfectly, she remember everyday perfectly, but she swore she remember this day better than any other. Bennett could never be sure what Tris meant to her, was he an older brother, was he the male friend who was like a girl friend, or maybe something more?

"So, still stuck babysitting?" he asked.

She let out a heavy sigh and nodded her head, "Yeah. He's working on his homework now." She hated talking about Benji. She hated the fact that she hated an innocent little kid. She looked around the house and thought of something to do. "What do you think we should do?" She said after nothing came to mind.

"Yeah. He's working on his homework now."

Tris nodded.

"What do you think we should do?"

"Hmm, I have no clue. You know how much I suck at thinking of ideas." he laughed.

"Well, actually... Can you make me food? I'm starving," Tris said after a while, already dragging Benny to the kitchen.

"What do you want to eat? Do you have bacon? You know how much I love bacon." he said, digging through the huge fridge.

"Hmm, I have no clue. You know how much I suck at thinking of ideas." he laughed.

"Yeah I know that. What was I thinking asking an ignoramus guy like you?"

"Well, actually... Can you make me food? I'm starving," Tris said after a while, already dragging Benny to the kitchen.

"You're always hungry."

"What do you want to eat? Do you have bacon? You know how much I love bacon." he said, digging through the huge fridge

"I know everything about you." She knew that was not entirely true, there was so much she had to learn, so many things she would never know. Bennett pushed Tris aside and opened up a drawer in the fridge. She pulled out two packs of bacon , "Microwavable or stove made?" Bennett was not a good cook, but because of Tris she was a pro at making bacon. Any style, crunchy, spiced with pepper, chewy, whatever Tris wanted she could make it.

"Yeah I know that. What was I thinking asking an ignoramus guy like you?"

Tris just snorted.

"You're always hungry."

"Yes, yes I am."

"I know everything about you."

Tris laughed and wrapped his arms around Bennett's waist.

"I'm sure you do, girl-frannn" he said in a fake high pitched girl's voice.

Tris laughed and let go.

"Microwavable or stove made?"

"Stove! Extra crispy! And maybe... barbecue flavored?" he said.

Suddenly, his phone rang.

He answered, while digging through the fridge again.

"Julie!" he said, breaking out into a big smile. "Me?... Yeah, I'm doing something. ... Why? ... Tonight? ... Um, I'm not sure. ... Okay fine. Yeah. ... See you tonight. ... Love you," he said, hanging up.

"Yes! BBQ sauce!" he announced, triumphantly handing the bottle to Bennett.

"I'm sure you do, girl-frannn" he said in a fake high pitched girl's voice.

Bennett laughed and looked at back at Tris. "Your so preternatural." She always tried to find the biggest words in her vocabulary when he was around, just to see if she could confuse him.

"Stove! Extra crispy! And maybe... barbecue flavored?" he said.

She tossed the microwavable bacon back into fridge and opened up the stove one. "I had a feeling you would say that. Not so much the barbecue, more the extra crispy." She pulled a paper napkin from the roll a set a couple pieces on it.

"Julie!" he said, breaking out into a big smile. "Me?... Yeah, I'm doing something. ... Why? ... Tonight? ... Um, I'm not sure. ... Okay fine. Yeah. ... See you tonight. ... Love you," he said, hanging up.

Bennett felt her stomach drop. He would be leaving soon. There was something she did not know. It would be easy to just search his mind for the answers but that would break an unspoken bond of trust between them.

"Yes! BBQ sauce!" he announced, triumphantly handing the bottle to Bennett.

She took the bottle and set it near the stove. She looked at it, without really looking at it. "Hey," she turned to him, "who was-" she was cut off when she saw Benji walking into the room.

"I finished science aren't you going to look over it?" Benji's eyes set down on Tris and he scowled. She did not know why, but Benji hated Tris.

"Benji can't you wait? Tristan is here." Had she just called him by is full name? That was rare.

Benji shook his head and held the his science book out to her. "Now. I'll tell dad you didn't help me." Bennett stepped forward and took the book from his hands. She scanned through it for no less than a second and handed it back to him. "All good go back to your room now." Benji took the book reluctantly, "You didn't really look at it." Bennett glared at him and he rushed out of the room.

"Soooo who was that?"

"Your so preternatural."

"You got that right~" Tris said.
Honestly, he really didn't know what that meant. When Bennett used big words, he either guessed what it meant, or just laughed. Worked either way for him.

"I had a feeling you would say that. Not so much the barbecue, more the extra crispy."

"Well of course! Who knows me better than Benny? Nobody," Tris said.

Benji's eyes set down on Tris and he scowled.

Tris saluted him, and grinned a big goofy grin.

Bennett glared at him and he rushed out of the room.

"Nice one, Big Sis," Tris laughed.

"Soooo who was that?"

"Who, Benji?" Tris said, "Oh wait, you mean Julie. Well, she's... Just, you know. Someone. Somebody. Um possibly ex-girlfriend?"

"Who, Benji?" Tris said, "Oh wait, you mean Julie. Well, she's... Just, you know. Someone. Somebody. Um possibly ex-girlfriend?"

Bennett raised an eye brow, " Yeah I mean Julie. An ex- girlfriend? Whom you tell you love?" She turned the stove on and the fire clicked to life. She set a pan down and first drizzled the barbecue on to it. She let it sizzle a little before setting the bacon on. Benji was still outside the kitchen, listening to their conversation.

Go to your room.

I'm making sure he doesn't hurt you.

Now why the hell would Tristan hurt me?
There she was doing it again.

He is bad. I know it.

Go to your room before I make you.

I won't let him hurt you don't worry.

She heard Benji climb up the stairs and slam his door shut. She flipped the bacon over and poured a bit more barbecue sauce on. Tris wouldn't hurt her. Benji is just a kid, what did he know? She looked at Tris and flipped the bacon onto a plate she had taken out. Yeah, there was no way. Him hurting her was like a dog and cat matting. Simply impossible

" Yeah I mean Julie. An ex- girlfriend? Whom you tell you love?"

"Hm? Oh, yeah. I mean, we're just good friends now. I tell all my friends I love them," Tris replied, digging through the fridge yet again.

"Let's see... I need eggs... Oh! got 'em... Next, I need bagels... Where are they?...Yes, found them!" he cheered, finally emerging from the fridge. He had two eggs in his left hand, and a pack of bagels in the other.

"I've decided to make barbecue bacon egg bagel sandwich!" he announced.

He found a toaster, plugged it in, and popped in the bagels. Next, he took a frying pan and stood next to Bennett. He turned his side of the stove on, and began to fry the eggs.

He sighed in content, loving the smell of barbecue bacon and fried eggs.

"The best person ever is cooking me bacon, and the smell is just wonderful! I'm in heaven!" Tris laughed.

Meanwhile, with Demetris...

Demetris had noticed her quickly hidden pissed off look, but decided not to comment for now. As they walked towards the meeting room, he noticed that smell of gunsmoke was coming from an outline drawn in bullets, and quickly put together that Cofee had gotten into a dispute with one of her family members. From what I've read of the Tae's description files, she still has some respect issuses in her family. I may just bring it up if she wants some help. After all, I've been through similar situations. You don't become Boss at the age of thirteen WITHOUT that happening.

When they got to the meeting room, Demetris sat down after Coffee, and then neatly started pulling off his gloves and folding them in front of himself.

"Okay, so what was the meeting for?"

Demetris smiled slightly, pausing his glove-folding to look over at the Korean girl, saying simply, "It's just our usual debriefing meeting, where I go over new information that my spies have found out, and you tell any important news with your family."

Noticing their was still tension in her posture, the black-haired boy sighed and placed his hands on the table, looking into Coffee's eyes sincerely, "Please do not take this as offense, but if you need assistance gaining the respect of some of your more stubborn family, I would be willing to help you."

right-hand Hye Na.

Hye Na followed them into the meeting room, her coffee cup still in hand. She didn't sit at the table, but stood behind Coffee with one hand in her pocket. Ji Hoon's little stunt had put Coffee in a bad mood which was never good, so Hye Na stood futher back than normal. Just in case.

"It's just our usual debriefing meeting, where I go over new information that my spies have found out, and you tell any important news with your family."

Hye Na hid a chuckle behind a smile. She loved how Demetris had to say that everytime he came over. It wasn't like him to come alone either. It was usually Simone or Aria that came with him. If it was Aria, she was probably still outside. Shifting her weight from one foot to the other, she drank some of the coffee.

"There was a Dragon attack today.." She put in helpfully. "And, you probably heard the little incident just now.."
