The Boss Man

"I'll keep Dr. Tristan's words in mind while I am washing my face."

"Yes, please do," Tris said seriously.

"Yeah, your so cool."

"Pshh, of course I am!"

"You did a wonderful cleaning job Tris!"

"I know right! I'm a professional! I should get paid to do that," he called back.

"So, when are we-" she climbed onto the bed, and then over him, "going to find some Dragons?"

"When night falls," Tris said. "This morning, I happened to receive some news about a nightclub where Dragons gather after a successful mission. They have huge parties. I feel like partying today, so I think I'll pay them a visit."

duraaaagon.
He traced the rim of his wine glass with his index finger.
He sat in a huge chair behind his desk. There were numerous profiles of familiar faces on his desk,
each from one of the families in the alliance.

He stopped tracing, lifted his finger off the glass, and slowly put it over one of the profiles.
"This one. Seems there's something going on at the Tae place."
He sighed.

"What do you think, Valentine?"

Benedict Arnold

When night falls," Tris said. "This morning, I happened to receive some news about a nightclub where Dragons gather after a successful mission. They have huge parties. I feel like partying today, so I think I'll pay them a visit."

Bennett blinked, "A party.... sounds fun to me. I haven't been to a party for awhile. Do you think we will have to dance? You know how utterly useless I am when it comes to dancing." An image of her dancing flew to her mind. She groaned and shook it out of her head. It was horrible. I really should consider dancing lessons.

She stretched her arms out and laid one across Tris's face. "Yeah," Bennett sighed comfortably, "I think I like this position best."

Valentine's Day

"What do you think, Valentine?"

Valentine looked at Marco and blinked several times. He really hadn't been listening. Something about the Tae family... that was all he had heard. He tried to remember any conversations regarding the family. Nope. Nothing.

He pulled a clump of the files from the pile and looked at the picture of each person. Just so he looked like he was doing something. "Yes..." he mumbled in the a smart tone, "I see..." Valentine pushed the profiles back. "Instead of doing what you said, I think we should go to the party tonight." (Thought I might set that up.) He hoped that whatever Marco was talking about had nothing to do with the party. He looked straight at Marco, in his "I-know-exactly-what-I'm-talking-about" glare.

"Party?" He laughed sincerely. "Did I set that up?" Marco looked back at the profiles again.
"Mmm. Fine, fine. Guests? Who's going, Valentine?"

"Party?" He laughed sincerely. "Did I set that up?"
"Mmm. Fine, fine. Guests? Who's going, Valentine?"

"I don't think you set it up." Valentine looked down at the profiles. Did Marco want a member of the Alliances to be there? He had no clue. He had just heard about earlier that day. Sounded like fun, so he wanted to go. "It only a thing for Dragons, but who knows we might have some party crashers?" Valentine said in a suggestive tone.

At this moment he could care less about if anyone in the Alliance came. Usually it was all he thought about, not today. Today had been a good day. He had had some delicious ice-cream and there was a successful mission. He had even gotten a lead on who had killed his parents. "So Marco, are we going?" Even though Valentine was the only dragon who had contact with the boss he still felt strange doing things on his own.

Meanwhile, with Demetris...

"I believe that I was just called idiotic. Thank you very much, even though I, myself, did admit it."

Demetris sighed and rolled his eyes playfully at Coffee, saying simply, "You know what I meant, Coffee."

"No, no, no, my dear friend (not really). You've just given up. We haven't even tried yet. Honestly, I really don't hate them. I mean, these grudges are from hundreds of years ago. No need to keep on hating them now. Well... I don't know. Things are getting complicated."

"...We might as well try, I guess. Though, if something bad comes out of it, I blame you. But seeing as we have the Tae stubbornness on our side, we might actually get somewhere," he replied to her, his expression now more serious.

He stretched in his chair, then sat back up, saying, "Well, since you decided on this quixotic quest, I might as well tell you about another tidbit my spies have told me: there is a nightclub where Dragons gather after successful missions. Somehow, without my help whatsoever, the Valencias found out about it. Knowing them, they'll be going there tonight and probably bring a few Castillo guests with them." He folded his again, continuing "If we want to meet them somewhere to talk about strethening the alliance, that's probably the safest bet for where they'll be tonight." (Connectiiiooons... >:D)

"Crashers, huh? That would be most interesting."

"So Marco, are we going?"
Marco stood up now. "Well, we are celebrating a successful mission, right? Let's go."

Marco walked down three levels of stairs, with Valentine following,
before reaching the front door, where a car was waiting for them.

Inside the car, after a few minutes of silent, Marco asked, "Did you bring anything?" (referring to weapons ^^)

simoneeeee.

"The boss sure has been gone awhile." she said as she looked at the clock.
She changed back into her normal clothes, finishing her meditation and daily training.
She decided to call him on his cell. It rang a few times before he answered, "Hello Boss? Where are you?"

"Well, we are celebrating a successful mission, right? Let's go."

Valentine was dancing inside. He stood with Marco and followed him as he left the building. He was quick moving. Valentine got the feeling he wasn't one to dilly dally. There was already a car waiting for them outside. That was the nice thing about being a Dragon. You were important. Before Valentine was just another face in the crowd, things changed when you had status. For awhile the car ride was silent, and he was the fine with this. Valentine was the kind of guy who was comfortable in any situation.

"Did you bring anything?"

He raised an eyebrow at Marco, "I really wasn't planning-" he stopped. "Oh, yeah. Of course." He pulled his gun out and waved it in front of Marco. "I don't go anywhere without it." He tucked it back into his jacket and smiled. "Did you?"

Demetris smiled at Coffe politely and held up one finger as he reached for his ringing phone -which he could tell was Simone by the ringtone-, he answered it, pulling it to to his ear.

"Hello Boss? Where are you?"

He sighed lightly then responded, saying, "I'm still at the Tae residence, Simone. We're putting together some potential plans, as per usual." He leaned back, smiling lightly while looking over at Coffee, and continued, "Speaking of those plans, what would you say about going clubbing tonight?"

"At Tae? OK. I'm coming over ASAP. See you in a bit." Simone spoke quickly and placed her phone in her bag.
She put on a hoodie and walked quickly to the garage where her royal blue BMW was parked.
Climbing into the seat and pulling out of the driveway was second nature to Simone. She rushed over to the Tae residence.

"Yes, there probably will be dancing. And yes, I know how utterly useless you are when it comes to dancing. How could I forget? You tripped and pushed me into the punch bowl when I took you to your prom," Tris laughed.

"Yeah," Bennett sighed comfortably, "I think I like this position best."

"Oh my gosh! I can't see!" he squealed. Laughing, he removed Bennett's arm from his face.

"Well, let's get going. Change your close to something nightclub-y," Tris said, getting up.

He went to Bennett's closet, where he had stashed some of his clothes. After choosing what he wanted, he was about to change when he remember Bennett was still in the room.

"Oops, I'm taking the bathroooooom," he said in a girl voice and a wink.

Once safely inside, he slipped on a pair of loose skinny jeans and a white dress shirt. Of course, the shirt remained untucked, and the sleeves were rolled to his elbows. He then put on a casual black vest, which remained unbuttoned, and a pair of black Nike high tops. Once he made sure everything was to his satisfaction, he left the bathroom.

"You know what I meant, Coffee."

Coffee just laughed.

"...We might as well try, I guess. Though, if something bad comes out of it, I blame you. But seeing as we have the Tae stubbornness on our side, we might actually get somewhere."

"Fine, fine. I shall take the blame," Coffee laughed, "And yes, with my stubbornness, we will get somewhere."

"Well, since you decided on this quixotic quest, I might as well tell you about another tidbit my spies have told me: there is a nightclub where Dragons gather after successful missions.[...]If we want to meet them somewhere to talk about strethening the alliance, that's probably the safest bet for where they'll be tonight."

"Oh please, even the Valencia's have spies. I'm sure that's how they found out about the nightclub. And, I'm willing to take that bet. We'll see how it goes... Either, we have a nice chat, or we end up fighting like mad. Hm... Anyways, the idea sounds fun. I haven't been to a nightclub in ages," Coffee grinned.

Coffee was planning her outfit in her head as Demetris talked on the phone.

right-hand Hye Na.

I haven't been to a nightclub in ages," Coffee grinned.

That was true. Neither had Hye Na, unless you counted the bar near the Tae's mansion. She went to that bar every 'effin day. Hye Na did enjoy drinking, as well as the rain and pocky. Drinking helped erasing the pain from memory, Pocky was chocolate (comfort food), and the rain washed the blood away.

Drinking the coffee cup empty she neatly threw the cup into the bin, after scrunching it up of course.

"So we're going to a club that will most likely be full of dragons to fix the alliance.." Hye Na asked out aloud before adding, "Awesomeness, I have a debt to settle anyway and a new drinking partner would be great.." She clapped her hands together gleefully.

"I'll go and greet Simone.." She said after deciding what she was going to wear in her mind. Bowing slightly, she exited the meeting room and headed for the main entrance.

Simone ran up the walkway to the front door of the Taes'.
Even before she knocked, the door had already opened. It was the Tae's right hand, Hye Na.
Simone was a little out of breath but greeted Hye Na.

"Is.. the boss.. Is the boss here?"

"At Tae? OK. I'm coming over ASAP. See you in a bit."

Demetris closed his cell phone, shaking his head at Simone. She always did have a talent for worrying over small things. Turning back to look at Coffee, he said, "It seems that Simone will be joining us shortly."

After waiting only a few minutes, he finally heard her tell-tale knock on the door, and excused himself to go greet his Right-Hand Woman.

"Is.. the boss.. Is the boss here?"

"Yes, Simone, I'm fine>' There's no need to worry," he said stepping out so she could see him while rolling his eyes lightly. He continued playfully, "You know, just because you're not with me when I go somewhere doesn't mean I'm completely helpless."

The Boss Lady

Coffee stood up and decided to get dressed for the nightclub. She walked up to her room, and straight towards her closet. After digging around, she found the perfect outfit. She stripped her clothes, and changed.

Her outfit consisted of a black tube top, that wrapped nicely around her body, and a white denim jacket. She wore a pair of light blue distress jean shorts, that were much too short, and a pair of silver pumps. She piled her signature purple, pink, black hair into a loose bun on the top of her head. She opted for no make-up, with the exception of tons of mascara and eyeliner. Not everybody could pull of this look, but Coffee certainly could.

Once she made sure everything was in place, Coffee walked downstairs. She stepped outside, where Hye Na, Demetris, and Simone were standing.

"So... How do I look? Did I overdress? Do I stand out too much?" she asked.
