This just came to me, with their bodies being so much smaller than the average human, shouldnt the heart/organs be less strained/"pushed" over a lifetime when they have less to maintain? their heart and the organs has pretty much the same size as that of bigger people if i'm not mistaken, doesnt it make sence?

Not all Japanese are tiny from what I know...
Also I misread the topic headline as "Japanese people live longer because they're so shiny?!"

I shouldn't be up this late.

But I guess it makes sense though I'm sure I heard somewhere that taller people are more likely to live longer...
I think we just need to take a look at eastern diets compared to US and European ones to see why the Japanese live longer

I thought it was their diet, too and not all of them are short. If that's the case, I should live forever. I'm pretty short.

Don't drink. It makes you drunk and stuff. Which is fun, but you're actually drunk and stuff.

So white rice ain't that great but how many azns you see chowing down on a MacDonalds every other day?

If they were small, Wouldn't their organs be equal, In contrast to that of someone who is 6 foot?
Their organs would have equal strain.
They simply live healthier lives

I never drink more than like a glass of wine to some food, but my mate is getting married next week so we went out to celebrate, i got some beers and something i can only describe as the sweetest beverage i've ever tasted

That's true, they eat much healthier food than we do.

But if you think about it, doesnt it make sence?(i'll probably wake up and laugh at what i'm saying but..), smaller bodies makes them easier to maintain/run for the organs?

Good night!

'Japanese live a bit longer than Americans that is a true fact. Why is do to a few factors. Healthier food, Better health-care, and exercise. The Japanese are known to go to the gym much more often than most Americans.
It is also true size does play a small role in health as well. usually you find a person who is 5'6" like my self, will have less health problems over time than someone who is 6'6".

'Native Americans in history also was healthier than the early English, do to eating habits. the English/British have times that the set up to eat, ignoring the state of there body. Wile the Native Americans ate wen they got hungry and that is it. Do to that They two happen to be healthier in that time zone. That is till Early Americans Killed 87% of them off with Bio-warfare, They rushed them into consecrations camps then gave them pox filled blankets to use to sleep. Yes America was all about the death camps, and forced death marches, and even testing there weapons of death on those they wrongfully imprison.

I was messing tbh. And don't go yet, it's still 6am and I'm still bored.

And what you're saying does make sense I guess but aren't people bigger, in the torso at least to make room for slightly larger organs? :O

It must be their diet and environment.
They even have penis festival.

And a boob pub.

long before the white people introduced potatoes, corn and bread. asians have always been eating rice.. my grandfather's 96 and considered the oldest golfer in the country. he eats rice everyday with fish and vegetables.. rarely eats meat, enjoys the occasional beer and loves chocolates.

he says it's all about moderation. too much of anything will kill you.. i still think it's the fish and vegetables. all the old asians swear to that.
