I'm guessing since Twitter is what is "in" right now they look at the demographic and saw most people would have one hence leading to using twitter as the contest game or it could be that twitter was a part of them getting the tickets to give out and they wanted to be a part of it and to get more people to use twitter. Nothing ever comes "free" you may not pay with cash but you do with time.

I'd enter this contest, but I won the GLAY contest and couldn't make it because of my parents - so it wouldn't feel right if I entered this contest. If I won this one and couldn't go, I'd feel like the biggest piece of crap on the planet (you know, taking away someone else's chances of winning the ticket).
