I failed a subject in my university. But I passed the minimum CGPA to be kept in the uni. However i need to resit for the subject i failed.

I felt very sad. I am sitting for an engineering course. But I know since i was small, I'm SUX at maths and physics. Anything related to philosophy or natural motion I'm not good at it.

But due to the scholarship offered, I had no choice but to head for it.

Now that i Failed that subject which is a Differential Equation subject, my 2010 is rather a pathetic year for me. Should i stop myself for being too active in my cocuriculum and stop being at relationship and stop studying at the eleventh hour?

you shouldn't be sad.. well, it is kind of disappointing when you learned that you failed when you have done your best but that doesn't mean that the world is going to end.. you must still try your best to pass that subject again.. i think you just need to prioritize the subjects you are not good at.. you must still give efforts to your other subjects but you must give your best to the subject you failed... i already experienced that before but i think i flunked the subject because i don't like the subject.. hehe ajah!! you can do it!!!

first thing you gotta do is redeem yourself. retake that course, and slam dunk it. then, you have to change your habits. doing some of the work when its assigned saves a ton of pain before exams. good notes and regular attendance are also a must. consider it a learning experience. if you don't make good on your mistake though, well you'll just repeat it again.

ya be sad about it, but dont dwell on it.
We are human, we learn through error..

I just do things that I'm really into so I won't regret for not doing it at the end.

You might be dead tomorrow or the next day anyway.
You might get rob and stab on the face 20 times like this celebrity I read in the article.
She was a celebrity but died tragically. So yea. Who knows.

Failed?
Don't worry so much about it.
You got all the time in the world.
Just try to learn from that, and you'll do fine.

You should be reflective and sad for like an hour, but then lift your head high and think of it as a chance to start a fresh. Wipe the page clean.

Depends. How hard did you work to try and pass it, an did the effort you put into trying to pass that lower your other grades?
If I knew I was going to fail a class, I'd accept I was going to have to retake it and re-prioritize to my other classes so that I could have a A,B,B,B,F trimester, retaking the failed class instead of a A,B,C,C,F trimester (since those C's can kill your graduating GPA). At my uni almost everyone I knew had to go an extra trimester due to failures.

It's natural to be sad, especially when you really gave all the best you have for that subject. But don't dwell on it much longer as if your whole life depended on that alone. Life goes on, my friend. You can always do better the next time. We all learn from our experiences, don't we? :)

Anyway, please just use this thread:
