If you live by the phrase, "Ako ang simula"(The beginning starts in me), then what are the things that you do to at least improve this country? Just curious.

To be frank, this place sucks but I love it because it's my home. I want the Philippines to improve in all aspects.
Are we just gonna talk, complain and do nothing? lol. What can you do to contribute to our community?

The government is just a small portion of our huge population, we cannot fully rely on them.

Keeping your candy wrapper in your pocket until you see the next trash can, is the least you can do and still make a difference. How about disposing your garbage properly and orderly? it does make a difference among the dump.
Small matters matter and should be, how much more are the big matters. Most of the biggest tycoons today "started small" and now they are what they are.

So what do you do?

keep thu plastic bottles and plat cans of beverages i consume a day..daymn.. it's like A LOT

Well, we can start making small differences... start with ourselves and bring good changes.observe proper waste disposal, be disciplined enough and to not just whine but take action.

I throw my trash in the garbage can (well, usually in my pocket or bag first then when class ends.. in the trash can )

I don't tolerate dishonesty and influence my peers to be honest and sincere in everything they do, confront them (calmly)when they do wrong things.(although.. i can't say I'm successful in influencing all my peers.. some still don't practice proper waste disposal.. but still I can influence even a few.. that's good enough for me... for now.)

I always keep in mind the word service instead of money/benefit.

Being JUST in everything.

Oh, and also excel in the things I can excel. and I also talk to the street children who beg for money that they should not beg, that their parents should be taking the responsibility to give them their necessities, that children are not born to be on the streets, that they have the right to be educated, that there is hope on surpassing poverty if their parents work hard and they strive hard in their studies and never lose hope. (and yes, i am simple-minded at times call me naive... it's okay, I still have lots of things to learn)

I'm going to strive hard in my studies and bring bigger good differences(when I graduate and when I become a better me I can be).
I'm going to be a BS Economics student at a certain university this coming academic year.. after obtaining my economics degree I'll pursue Law.. I always keep in mind that money isn't everything, that justice can't be bought (though I'm a bit confused... if lawyers know the law more than any other common person, why would they defend their client if he/she himself/herself know that his/her client is guilty? just for the sake of money? )

start changing ourselves because no one can change the entire country if he/she does not know who to change his own self for the better... if you dare to be diffrent, make small changes within your self and inspire people to change their own self as well.

Me? Take a shower everyday if possible and avoid abusing the computer.

Finish school, get a job and a get a steady career or job. Pay your taxes, vote and choose your leaders wisely that's the best way you can make a difference.

That's really nice, all I hear from my classmates is becoming a seaman, engineer and nurse meaning they'll be leaving the country, lulz.

No one can really help our country except us.
