As I would assume, must of us out there, even me, listen to music. Music genres of all sorts, and the ones the interest us the most.

That said, has listening to music every spark the interest of playing a musical instrument? If so, which instrument and why that instrument? Any personal reason?

Today, in about 10-hours from now I will start my first piano class in college, It was pretty expensive but thats the cost of learning something amazing as a piano. Now if only I could find a guitar and violin teacher, XD time for some google searching in my area.

haha, nice to see others out there like me who are willing to go beyond just watching and learning themselves. I watched and played Guitar Hero (Novice Level) and enjoyed all the songs, but thought why am I playing something that doesn't teach me. So 2 weeks after that I bought a real guitar and amp. and now enjoy my half decent guitar want a better one and my spider IV amp which brings down the house! XD

Nice!! I'm learning piano soon, too. For 2nd semester at my school. Okay, it's keyboard...but they're not too different. If you learn one, it makes the other much easier

I know how to play clarinet, but I haven't played it in forever. I quit my school band a long time ago, cause none of my friends were in it and most of the kids were total fruits, anyhow. I couldn't stand the other band kids.

I was listening to Within You Without You by The Beatles today, and I thought...Hey! How cool would it be to learn how to play the sitar? I think it has a nice sound

I also want to learn some stringed instruments. Violin, cello...I wanna learn both of those. And electric violin. I never thought too much of it, but Emilie Autumn's music made me appreciate it more.

Oh, I almost forgot-- KEYTAR!!! Simply because...they look so badass, imo. Like if I just see someone even holding one I think, Now, they're cool!!

Haha, Nice piano is amazing, I currently own a upright piano and keyboard, they took me a while to save for those birthday money where well worth the reward.

About the violin, they are fun and when i got a hold of one i was so crazy about it till i opened the package and saw i had to install the strings and bridge and correctly tighten my bow, 3 hours later I had everything done with youtube's help of course. If your interested in a violin they sell them on Amazon for a pretty decent price about under 100-dollars. I got mine for fair value and it shines every time i open my case.

A little tuition for learning something as smooth as a violin, one of the only instruments in which you can express you inner soul through the harmony of the strings together.

Sorry for not including a direct link, might as well provide it if im talking about where i got mine.

OMG, I cannot thank you enough!! That is unbelievably cheap. I'm gonna either ask my mom to get me it, or earn Amazon giftcards from Swagbucks xD That's pretty sweet...I'm sure if I went out and searched I could find reasonable priced lessons in my town. xD

I know 60-bucks for a violin makes no sense but this is a student-violin for student to learn to play the violin, i bought it currently still use it, comes with the violin, a violin case, the bow, and the powder to rub on your bow to produce sound. Its one of those things where I don't believe it till I see it with my own two eyes situation. my violin looks and feel and plays amazing, a few strings on my bow where clipped during shipping, but with clippers i cut them 2mm from the edge as explained online.

Also theres no point in buy an expensive one when your first learning, after the practice, practice, practice, step of learning your violin its going to get pretty torn up, you don't want your expensive violin torn up, might as well have a starter one first to get you moving and if you dont like the violin, contact the selling and explain your reason for not liking it and return it to the seller for a refund. I mean this is Amazon a top seller not E-Bay.
