The app works fine for the most part. Sure there are little hiccups every now and then, but that really does not bother me. What does bother me about the app is the number of series that do not show up in the app.
If you're going to put a series up and not make it available on the iphone it would be nice if there was a note on the series page. Just something simple like, "Not available on the iPhone app." But seriously, you guys can do better on this. |

I'd be soooo happy if there was a blackberry app as well. Despite there being so many blackberry users out there across all carriers we tend to really get the short end of the stick when it comes to apps...with the vast majority on iphone and now android.

It looks like it will start to load a video on the mobile site (m.crunchyroll.com), but it never plays. |

I can view embedded YouTube links now without opening the YouTube app, and I can use Chatango flash-based chat. So it works on some things already. Hoping 2.1 helps! |

Hulu might be a good alternate site to test and see how the general Flash support stacks up, since it still supports putting the resolution down to 288p (what the old Crunchyroll player used to offer as "LQ") ~ though I've never navigated it from a smartphone browser. For example, Fractale is: Hulu is actually worse. Crunchyroll: tap the "play" button. See a blip of a still image from the episode. See the circular "loading" Crunchyroll icon, then black. Controls show on the bottom, but nothing else happens. The refresh icon on the lower right turns into an X icon that stops Flash, a sign that Flash is running. Pictures are from m.crunchyroll.com, but I tried the full site too. Hulu: black box where video should be, no controls, no X icon because Flash isn't running. |

It seems like Flash on Pre is not getting through the security protocol correctly. You might report this to Adobe and Hewlett Packard as a webOS2.0.1 bug, and see if you get rewarded with a bugfix. Remind them that this bug interferes with using Flash to stream ad-supported content to webOS2.0.1 devices. |
