re•ve•rie noun
a state of being pleasently lost in one's thoughts; a daydream

My problem is that I don't write enough. I'm going to try and fix that by starting this thread.

Consider it an experiment, of sorts.

Goal? (Impossible, but most goals tend to be.)

One entry per day. Minimum.

A word of caution?

What's written here won't always make sense.

What is this? It's not a(n attempted) novel. It's not short stories, it's not poems.

What is this? I'm not really sure.

It's whatever comes to mind. Whatever stray thoughts don't slip through the butterfly net. Whatever comes to mind when a certain song plays, when fingers are poised over keyboards.

Drabbles? I think that's the word for it. Short, and sweet. Meaningless prose that can be interpreted in whatever way you want it to be. Most of it will be vague, because that's the way (my) drabbles tend to be written. xD

This might not work. But if they say it never hurts to try, there must be a reason behind it.

So.

What is this?

Writing just to write.

* Crunchyroll doesn't have strikethrough, which kind of puts a damper on things. So whenever you see something (underlined), imagine the line a few pixels higher. Strikenthrouwgh. (Ha. I didn't even know that was a word until Spell Check told me it was. xD) It'll kill the emphasis (and I hate using underline), but, hey, it's better than nothing.

o.0 I like the idea but as you said it doesn't make sense. The ice theme has. . . . morality to it. You know, like how they say that the world will either die by fire or by ice? That type of thing. Yeah.

Mortality, you mean?
Although it could go both ways, I suppose. ^_^
Mortality: ice is death - and I'm glad you caught that, it was one of the themes I was going for. (whether it's from actual ice or her sword or it's just death itself I'll let you decide for yourself.)
Morality: she is (as cold as) ice.

Don't see how you spotted the fire in it all, though. x)
Ohwell. Thanks~ =D
(I love hearing how others interpret stuff ehehe. :3 *glomps*)

Yay. So I actually kept my word. =D
(which doesn't say much, since this is just the second day. but still. I'm proud of myself.)

. . . I need to stop being so melancholic. xD

HMMMMMMMMMMMMM!

Very vividly, painfully beautiful. If my mom read that she would say you are in depression. What I think is that you are very talented. Harnessing everything you felt, read and saw to CREATE. Thats what true authors do. Whether they ARE in depression or not. They create worlds, lives, feelings, emotions, dreams and nightmares likewise...

Thank you for sharing this and showing what a majestic writer you are even when your writing is messed up and instantaneous...
Proud to have you here... I will add you to our main page. To your justly deserved place.

AW! THAT'S SO PRINCESS-Y! And modern! And cute! I love it. I think my favorite line was: "the only time she ever cried was when she found out her glass slippers were made of plastic"

Ahhh, thank you. ^///^
I don't usually write this disjointedly... or this melancholic, for that matter.
Fffffth I hope I don't come off as depressed. xDD;

Note To Self: Write something fluffy.

But wow thank you so much~ <3

Yaay that's one of my favorite lines too~
Although the wording is gross. D:

<3 to the princess theme.
Modern, though? I was aiming for an 'end of the world, no hope, no dreams' kind of things. (because that's the kind of thing I've been reading a lot, lately. it won't get out of my head.) but hrmmm modern fairytales could work too.

<33 thankyuuuu~

Wasn't able to post Saturday's and Sunday's at the time, so you get three for one today~

WOWOWOWOWOW!

this is just getting better and better!
I can see the songs you are inspired or were listening while writing these but all these reminded of one song: Thom Yorke, Hearing Damage (also New Moon soundtrack)...

Excellently done. Thank you for the share!!

Ahhh thank you. <33

Isn't it funny how something that's inspired by music can remind us of an entirely different song?
It's one of the things I like a lot about writing. What the words make us remember, what they remind us of...
I'll definitely have to listen to those songs. ; )

Yesterday's.

Today's has yet to be written.

Dunno where this came from, since it's freezing outside, but who are we to question how the mind works?

huh... your words are like punches... harsh but true.. even when your philosphy is hidden in a fantasy world... every line you write has the sharpness of truth.

I absolutely love the way you use words. You are soooo familiar with them as you have been doing this professionally for years and years. And the way you are writing this daily (almost ) is just fantastic. Seems like "the writer's block" doesnt claim you at all.

And I totally enjoy the fragments of sarcasm you harness into it so majestically.

Thank you for the share again. I'll be expecting more from you soon ^_^

Ahh writer's block is actually my worst nightmare haha. xD
It's the reason I'm not out there writing novels like the rest of you. ; )

The beauty of these things is that they're so short that writer's block doesn't really have a chance of happening.

Yeah. That was like my core source of inspiration. How could you tell? |D
