Some people make their life of writing, and if someone's dream gets overcasted by a CR user "that claims he has a company that can publish items"

That's just idiotic, are you handing your dreams over to a simple CR user? That you simply just met, and know absolutly nothing about, aside the fact, that everything he tells you can be false.

im not asking, for it, just a copy, geez i just thought that someone might wanted some professionals look at somones story

A copy? Do you know what you can do with that?

The people your aiming for are people who've been doing it for a while- maybe just started, have no claim that it's their work besides their name >_> which you could easily erase and edit?

Just a copy huh? You piss me off. This is the fucking world, get into it, you can do lots of thing with just a copy. I don't think the fucking judges care just hand them the money

heres another tip about writing. there are people with the talent at a young age to be a writer. however they may find that because of a lack of life experience they cant apply it to their writing. you'll find your writing developing as you grow yourself and will also have a clearer idea of what you want to be.
however, my father is a professional artist who has exhibited at the royal academy in london. he always asked me what his art teacher had asked him..."do you enjoy painting/writing? is it something you have fun doing and can put down and pick up whenever you like? if you answer is yes then DONT be a professional artist/writer, keep it as a hobby. painting is something that should consume your life and should be something you CANT put down"

even though i liked writing when i was younger i wasnt a writer becase i didnt know exactly what i wanted to do with my life. now i am a writer because i cant put it down, and i'm not a slacker because im just too obsessed with it.

and if youre wondering how i find the time to post on CR, i do that when im eating , and as a writer its good to watch and listen to other people of all ages and backgrounds, as with as much life experience as anyone can have, you CANT be someone else

:)

ironic.. growing up made me a bitch lame writer. my favorite past time is sitting on mall food courts and people watching. hey any published book? of course your a writer..oh.. so any books you wanna share..

I've got a novel out to an agent at the moment, so i'm in the waiting for the postman stage. I'm in the exciting impoverished artist stage too. ironically its an agent who liked something I was writing about 12 years ago, but I wasn't so into writing then so I did something else. trust me though, when it gets published I'm going to totally whore the title around

I don't know.. I think if anyone had taken the time and put in the effort required to write a book.. and I mean a whole publishable book... they would already have an idea as to how to publish it.

darkjug-

Ahh hush, no one with the intelligence to write something of any worth would consider his offer anyway.

Alrighty.

Anthony Horowitz would've probably considered this when he was young~

And see what would've happened, LULZ.

in the uk you can protect your work in this cheap way...print your hard copy out, sign and date every page, put it in an envelope and post it back to yourself signed for delivery/ registered/recorded. when it arrives LEAVE IT SEALED! if someone steals your work you present the sealed envelope in court to proove you wrote it 'first'. there are other ways to increase your protection.

by the way I won't email my own father chapters from my book in case the mail goes astray - he's given a hard copy AFTER I've protected it in case it gets lost. I protected everything before it went to an agent.
