Ok, if experts managed to find solid, indisputable, concrete evidence of one of these discoveries, which one would have the biggest impact in our lives? I think either 1 or 2 would be the biggest impact. Btw, I am not posting this to try and start a flamewar, and I did not post 2 because I am trying to promote an atheist ideal. I am an agnostic, and I have no problem with people who are religious.

They'd all be pretty groundbreaking, but I'm pretty sure the God one would make people go crazy. It'd just change everything, really.

Well I put that one up because it would be a discovery on the same level as when Columbus discovered the new world or when man first landed on the moon.

I agree. I know that millions of people do believe with all their heart that there is a god, but there are at least as many who don't. If something happened like, god appeared suddenly at a U.N. conference live on C-Span and performed a miracle that gave solid proof to people around the world that he does exist, that would just change everything.

If it was possible to have concrete evidence about the creation of the universe then the whole God issue would be solved as well. Although even with all the evidence pointing to the obvious existence of God people still seem to question His existence. I wonder if people would even believe in Him if they saw Him face to face?

Even when Jesus was here on earth people still didn't believe that he was God even though he proved it on a daily basis.

According to the Bible when God does come down to reign on earth in the future men are still going to rebel against Him.

Genesis is a written observation of the creation of the world whereas evolution is just a theory that has not been observed by anyone (e.g. -- no one has ever seen, or been able to force, or record an evolution of one species to another. Most "missing links" have been proven to be hoaxes, yet they're still taught in schools.)

For some interesting and downright strange facts visit www.s8int.com and see why the Christian view of creation is actually supportable with scientific facts.

Whoa... tough choices. But I chose #2. That would be interesting if God's existence was proven.
