Chapter 1:I wish

"Gosh!Anime and manga characters sure have it easy!"Kana grumbled as she sat down at the table to do her homework.

"KANA!DINNER TIME!"Her mother called from the dining room.

"MUM!I JUST SAT DOWN TO DO MY WORK!"Kana yelled back.

"OKAY!BUT NO DELAYING BY READING THAT MUNGA CALLED SULO CAHLA OR WHATEVER IT IS!"

"IT'S MANGA,NOT MUNGA!AND IT'S SHUGO CHARA,NOT SULO CAHLA!"

Kana turned back to her work,and grumbling away,she scribbled furiously on her homework assignment.As soon as she was done,Kana grabbed her copy of Shugo Chara manga from her desk and reread,or what was the millionth time,the part where Ikuto went to the amusement park with Amu.

She only looked up when she saw her beast of a mother standing in the doorframe growling angrily."THAT'S IT!NO MORE MANGA FOR YOU!"Her mother grabbed her collection of manga and brought it away with her,"I'm locking this up in the cabinet under the staircase until you learn how to control yourself!"

"What?!No!"Kana cried,and made a grab for her precious books.But it was too late.Her mother had already stomped away.

"No,mum!They'll get cobwebs and who knows what icky stuff on them!Please,I promise I won't read them when you tell me not to!"

"Well,I'm telling you not to now!"

"That's unfair!"

"Life's unfair,young lady.Now eat your dinner and shut up!"Her mother said with a voice that rang with finality.

That night,when Kana lay in bed daydreaming about how it would be like to be in Amu's world,a sudden naughty thought crossed her mind."Hmm...Now that mum's asleep,I guess she won't notice if I get the keys to get my books back out,would she?"And Kana crept out of bed and unlocked the cabinet door.

She gingerly pulled out a book from the pile,careful not to make the plastic bags rustle.But then,all of a sudden,she tripped over her own feet while heading back up and dropped the book on the floor,the spine so worn out that it opened to the amusement park page.Kana fell face first into the pages of the open book......

Chapter 2: Am I Dreaming?

"Ughh...."Kana sat up slowly and shook her head furiously."OOOHHHH!!!HEAD RUSH!"She cried and fell back onto the floor.It was cold and hard....and....metallic?

Kana got up and looked around."Huh?I'm not in my house?"She looked closer at her surroundings.

"HOLY !$%^&*!!!"Kana shrieked,"Am I dreaming?Or am I in Shugo Chara's amusement park?"

Jumping to her feet,she noticed that the amusement park lights were on."Oh!I wonder if Ikuto and Amu are still here?"She dashed round the park until she saw the 'Whirling Teacups'.Ikuto and Amu were crammed into a teacup.

"EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH?????!!!!!"Kana shrieked,shocked and confused at the prospect of being in an imaginary world that she had always longed to be in.Overwhelmed,she collapsed onto the floor.

"Shh!!!Careful!!!You might wake her up!No!Don't touch my things!Get out of my room!"Amu shouted-whispered to Ami.

"Ugh...Where am I?The floor's so...soft and comfy..."A voice came from the bed.

Amu turned towards the strange girl lying in her bed.

"Are you all right?Do you need anything?"Amu asked the girl(Kana) in a concerned voice.

The girl stared at Amu.Then she screamed.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"Amu screamed as well,shocked by the girl's reaction.

"N-no way!Are you...are you Hinamori Amu?"The girl said.

"Wah!How did you know my name!"Amu cried out in shock.

"Well,I'm a big fan of you!I have all the mangas about you!Nice to meet you!I'm Hakukashi Kana!"Kana cried.

"M-manga?W-what are you talking about?This is real life!Not a manga!"Amu replied.

'It seems like she doesn't know that she is in a manga herself!Maybe I shouldn't have told her!' Kana thought."N-no!I...I didn't say that this was a manga!W-what made you think so?"Kana stammered.

"Okay..."Amu turned around to leave the room. 'This girl is a bit strange...I wonder what she really meant to say...' "If you need anything,just yell for me.I'll be downstairs."

"Oh,no!It's okay,really.If it's okay with you,I'll be leaving now."Kana said,"Thanks for bringing me here." 'UWAHHH!!!!I JUST MADE A STUPID MISTAKE!I SHOULD STAY HERE AND MAKE FRIENDS WITH HER!!!NOOOOO!!!'

Amu stopped and turned around."Well...you see...I...er...didn't tell my parents about you and when they find out,they may get angry," she gulped, "so,er...it'll be great if you could go out the balcony..."

"OUT THE BALCONY???I CAN'T DO THAT!!!I'M NOT A CAT LIKE IKUTO!"Kana widened her eyes."AH!I didn't say anything!You didn't hear me!"

"H-how did you know who Ikuto is?W-who exactly are you?H-how do you know me?Where did you come from?Are you HUMAN?"Amu questioned.

"Er...er..." ' This is bad!She could end up getting depressed if I told her that her life up till now has just been a story!' Kana trembled.

Her eyes hardened and Amu turned and with her back facing Kana,said,"You have to stay here meanwhile."

"W-why?"

"Let's just say that you will have to meet the guardians first."Amu said,voice trembling.

"THE GUARDIANS?SERIOUSLY?COOL!I WANT TO MEET THEM!ESPIECIALLY HOTORI TADASE AND MASHIRO RIMA!"Kana blurted,then covered her mouth with both hands. ' Oops,I did it again.'

Amu gave Kana a frightened look before dashing off.Kana sneaked out behind her and eavesdropped on her phone conversation with the guardians.

"Seems to know all about us...came out of nowhere...girl about 13 years old...okay....uh-huh...here in 10 minutes?Good.Tell Rima,Yaya and Kairi too,'kay?Thanks.See you!"Amu hung up the phone and started up the stairs again.Kana scrambled back into Amu's room and onto her bed,wondering what the guardians would do when they came.

"They will be here in 10 minutes."A weary voice came from the doorway.She saw Amu walk across the room and open a box.Then she prodded 3 eggs and said,"Time to wake up,guys.It's late."

Ran,Miki and Su popped out of their eggs."Oh!It's Ran,Miki and Su!"Kana crowed in esctasy."No way!I wish I could have shugo charas too!"

The three shugo charas stopped and stared at the 'extra' on Amu's bed.

"Hi!I'm Hakukashi Kana!"Kana repeated.

Just then,the doorbell rang and Amu ran downstairs,shugo charas behind her.

In less then 3 minutes,they guardians were in Amu's room.
