Hell no. I can't sing, so I won't sing. But I lip-sync though =)
People get pulled out if they don't in my school.

I don't think so, or perhaps they just don't care. It's not like they're gonna force us to sing it

i think they probably know... i mean the isd is evrywhere right? *glances around* and the teachers all probably complain... but seriously... its not the music-only national anthem thats the problem.. but WHY its only music that can be heard and not voices... and the moe... even if they knew that people are not singing... cant do much to solve the problem... cos they know why the problem exists... and the solution is nowhere near attainable... no matter how much the school enforces it... once you're out of school... you wont open your mouth to sing if you dont feel a passion for your country... or if there's isnt a policeman breathing down your neck... jkjk... but i also believe that teachers should set a good example and sing the national anthem. after all... the are stewards of educaation... and what better way to educate students than to show them...

So u r saying the teachers should each have a mic and demonstrate with pride of how the national anthem should be sung? Better yet, lets call down the MOE staff to sing with us! We'll have encore everyday!

whoa... you actually read my long long post... hmm... next time i should try writing an essay... and no... thatd be way too ridiculous... but i mean... in some schools... you dont see the teachers singing either.... which is bull... especially if the students are going to be asked to sing again and get "punished"

LOL!!!! That school must have practiced meritocracy! They're developing their own patriosm. And no pls don't write an essay! I hate books and papers and words.

If MOE wanna students to sing loud, dastric measures will have to be taken! They must come down to boost their morale and let the students sing with them!

why??? books are good.... *says the person who hasnt read 2 yrs supply of newsweek magazines and doesnt touch the straits time except to collect gp articles* the moe isnt as free as that dude... and can you imagine the amt of paperwork that needs to be done to allow one person to come to a school and boost morale? why not invite a minister while we're at it...
