There's a lot of characters that I wish didn't die but almost everyone that died served their purpose in advancing the story/character development of someone.

I liked Jiraiya, Asuma, Itachi, and the 3rd a lot. Asuma was probably the least needed person to die though. So I guess I pick Asuma.

I vote for Orochimaru

He is the best evil and creepy guy

and he defeated 3rd hokage!

Orochimaru was like one of the strongest evil guys in the beginning of Naruto
if he wasn't in Naruto then it would be boring

He is dead but I think it's 99% he will return

I know I want itachi back and jiraya died when his own student killed him so i think it's weird... i know that asuma i want back the most

honestly pain, because even though he did those bad things, naruto was able to change his views on life causing him to use all the power he had left to help the leaf
same goes for lady chiyo and jiraya who sacraficed there life for the next generation of ninja
