They just have to wait till next week to watch the episode to get the Shikamaru badge. They can collect all the badges except Shikamaru, but they can get shikamaru next week.
This event lasts till April 15th, and I am 100% positive by then all badges will be released and available for everyone to get.

You can get badges just by watching any Naruto Shippuden Episode. You will get a notification in your inbox from the crunchybot.
There are going to be a few badges you can only get by watching certain episodes. Here is a table to help explain
Character Episode
Asuma Random
Choji Random
Gaara Random
Ino Random
Iruka Random
Kankurou Random
Kurenai Random
Shikamaru 146/146
Temari Random
You can only get Shikamaru from episode 146. Non-Anime Subscribers will have to wait till next week to get this badge.

Not really, It is only one badge they won't be able to get. They can still collect the others.

hmm...I wonder do you have to find it inside the episode or just watch it to receive the badge (for Shikamaru that is), just curious since I have gotten all the other except Shikamaru just by watching, and I have watched 146 several times but only gotten repeats of the others.

I Have gotten Shikamaru Shadow from episode 146 just by watching. Haven't gotten the color one yet. Check my profile.
