Yo.

Recently, and by recently I mean for about 1..Year possibly, I have been listening to Japanese Music (With some english bands too) And ive found.

East really does beat west.

America, and England are full of over-commercialized. Auto-tuned, Money makers with 0 talent.
Japan, on the other hand, seems to excel in all the departments i have not described.
You can tell they care about the music they write, they don't do half done covers of old songs.
They make them all themselves, and put real heart into it, whilst making an AWESOME TUNE at the same time

Think of it.

Lets take...."Lil Wayne" for example
This guy is the physical embodiment of the word failure (In my opinion) he only cares about money, and gets people to write his songs for him, to which, he uses computerized voices to do the hard work for him.
He even made a song about how much he gets paid...hmph.

Now, lets take...Uhm......Miyavi!

This guy is easily one of the best guitar players in the world, possibly for show, but at least he plays an instrument!
Talent!
With light hearted songs, which he plays to a HUGE auidience! (He played "If your happy and you know it" to a few thousand people)

Im not Ranting and raving AGAINST western music, some of it is pure gold.
The above is simply my opinion.

What do you all think?

Beast from the east?
Best from the West?

Which one is better and why?
