Good chance as more and more fans cheer him as much as more and more fans boo him. But then for years I've said Cena needs a heel turn, so maybe IF they really want Nexus to recover some from the misbooking, have Cena go heel with them slowly after HIAC. Only time will tell. As for Jericho if he does take the sabbatical to tour with his band Fozzy (whom I've seen live before and like some), then cool and a return he'd likely be face anyways since the golden rule is almost always a returning superstar is greeted face to begin by fans.

I guess just to clarify one last time this thread is more for general predictions while the new one is for PPVs picks and also the previews, but again post on either as you wish! So good luck with that prediction! It's easily got more legs than me predicting my 49ers winning their division (can you tell I'm in a funk since MNF, heh...I'll recover once they win a bleeding game!). Ta!

Will do here then general future predictions for the WWE as stated for this thread!

Quick PPV picks first again:
Natayla over LayCool to become the new Unified Divas title
Wade Barrett over John Cena
Daniel Bryan over the Miz and John Morrison to retain the US Title
Randy Orton over Sheamus to stay the RAW WWE Champion
Kane over the Undertaker to continue the feud as the Smackdown World Heavyweight Champ

And post PPV predicted ramifications for WWE Bragging Rights and beyond!

-The LayCool Split could finally occur while Beth Phoenix would have a new feud with the champ Natalya.
-Cena reluctantly joining Nexus after losing can give him a taste of the Dark Side to an eventual heel turn. We'll soon learn too the REAL leader of Nexus before the RAW GM's identity.
-Bryan's win will start a Morrison heel turn for a new feud.
-Orton will start a new feud with a moved CM Punk (traded for Edge) while Sheamus faces a returning HHH.
-Kane and Taker keeps going...maybe into the new year (yikes) with a new Ministry being built by Paul Bearer to face Kane.
-Mick Foley's the first HOF entrant for 2011.

Let's see how those go!

heres another WILD prediction...

Paul Bearer TURNS on Undertaker and helps Kane retain the Heavyweight Championship.

storyline says that Bearer is Kanes daddy. we still havent heard from Bearer yet. maybe he came back from being buried alive NOT to help Taker in his quest to get back the Title, but to sabotage Taker and help his son Kane keep the belt.

if he dont turn at the Hell in a Cell PPV, he will later.

either way, Paul Bearer will TURN on the Undertaker.

i predict that im not gonna be able to see Bragging Rights this weekend. not particularly cuz im buyin UFC 121(cuz im not, we're going to see it a bar tonight for $5 a head), but more becuz it feels like there have been WAY TOO MANY WWE PPVs lately.

i remember i used to look forward to WWE PPVs! cuz thats where feuds are supposed to get settled! storyline feuds used to build up to the PPVs. we watch RAW and Smackdown to see the story develop and the climax to it comes at the PPV! but stories these days are so rushed and put together week to week, that theres no build to a PPV climax, just more continuation. the last couple PPVs might as well been 3hr RAWs or Smackdowns. if it wasnt for the Cell, u prolly couldnt tell it was a PPV. it just feels like the PPVs these days are not important anymore. they feel like monthly requirements, instead of climaxes. and instead of climaxes, they feel more like foreplay for RAW.

we've had 3 PPVs in the past 2 months. except for the Paul Bearer turn and Bryan winning a title, we havent seen anything really impactful or significant in these PPVs. Cena joining Nexus was supposed to be a big deal, but it feels like we didnt even have to see the PPV to watch that story develop, cuz everything important to that happened on TV. i hope something BIG happens at Bragging Rights, just to re-instill my faith in WWE PPVs. cuz as of this posting, im not really lookin to buy it or watch it, unless i have nothing else better to do.

Oh no you're so spot on on too many even if 1 got cut so we got 13 this year. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WWE_PPV

Actually for all that do PPVs (boxing, pro wrestling, MMA) the trend is gone to do so many and milk fans for each one. Add on multiple companies doing it there's just not enough time and money to invest in so many. I used to order them and have friends over to cover (unlike how WWE claims it's only happened recently) but that's become not possible. Oh and odd they charge at a bar per head as they're not supposed to, only for food. Place I go is that way.

Anyways the market's oversaturated with PPVs in general and WWE with 13 as we saw recently doesn't even have time to build said interest per PPV. Lance Storm on his blog at http://www.stormwrestling.com/100510.html makes the excellent point too that without the build of MATCHES to draw fans, it's easier to watch just the TV and read the results since the STORIES and angles are what the WWE pushes today. So why waste even the cash on the PPVs which went up in price if also there's not the effort from the WWE on them? That's aside when we report on them for the news sections and such, I still too wish there was more reason to see a PPV asides the big 3-4 ones and even then the builds are lessening as more people even fans buy the PPVs less and less, especially the B PPVs like Bragging Rights. We shall see if something sparks as you never know, but the signs don't seem there for the dying PPV template. Then again WWE makes cash other ways as do other companies but it is curious maybe to predict we're seeing the end of the PPV era soon with more focus on TV and possibly even a 24/7 cable channel for the WWE somewhere in the future as they want.

Umm not exactly how things should be done. Some of us active mods have contacted the mods who do the updates of the page and right now no replies due to either being busy or away. I'll send one more to the boss creator so just chill. It's not like other parts of the group are not working...we do what we can and we each handle what we know and the current mods don't know how to do the main page edits or pic finds. So chill.

Alright now to some random predictions for upcoming shows/builds I think could happen:

-Alberto Del Rio wins the upcoming King of the Ring tournament that will be one of 3 RAWs that will be 3 hour shows so that means both brands will work those RAWs. Alberto would look so good as KOTR.

-I think by the 3 hour RAW that will have the Slammy Awards we get the start again of the build to one of the big Wrestlemania matches. But since Taker is healing up I think we get a different big focus main event this year. I think by this show we might either see who is the real mastermind of Nexus OR who the anonymous RAW GM is (please just don't be any McMahon...).

-I actually think now Miz might break Edge's wait to cash in his MITB and get pretty close to Mania to do it, but for sure seems now like 2011 is the time he'll cash in.

Well stemming from a stellar Old School RAW, something just makes me think this whole Michael Cole (really it's Vince in his ear) hating on Jim Ross is leading to some eventual feud and maybe even a match. I'm rarely ever liking non-wrestlers doing this but if it meant more of Jim Ross commentating again I'll let it fly. A great suggestion I read too is allowing Jim Ross and even ring announcer the Fink Howard Finkle doing just PPVs to help the draw and rebuilding of the PPV buys in a down time. I believe this will occur if HHH and Steph took over sooner rather than later from an aging and growing paranoid and crazy Vince...
