if you are looking for a good singleplayer game, i would recommend Batman: Arkham Asylum. Even if you are not fond of super heroes you will like this game. It has good fight system, nice graphic and interesting storyline

well if you like long and hard to beat game in the ps2 complete with a tear jerkking plot i highly recomend Tales of the Abyss and Tales of Legendia.. pretty good graphics
