I wish it was as simple and yes or no

How does this situation even work? If he doesn't deserve a second chance, does that mean he doesn't deserve to be in a relationship for the rest of his life?

analogy to absurdity

if someone who cheated on you asked for a "second chance" after a while of your break up,, should it be given??
or you just remain friends or even nothing to him anymore??

also if anybody would have the time to share ideas.. :)

how can we forget these kinds of humiliation like being cheated and fooled??

thanks :))

Lol, What I love to see is girls get rebounded instead of guys, because majority is men who get used as rebounds, and your situation sounds like it too.

"Ugh, no girls like me right now."
or
"Ugh, no pretty girls like me right now."

*Call Satoriah*
"Let's not close the doors."

Blah blah*
*post on CR*

OR!

He really likes you, because I doubt it.
Human beings are slimey, deceiving individuals.

Interesting that so many people are against second chances
I'd say people deserve a second chance. Who knows what might happen. Maybe it'll end the same way, maybe it won't.

Yes. Anyone deserves one.

But only a second. No more thirds, fourths, fifths, etc.

If he cheats a second time then it's bye-bye time.

Well, if you are really desperate then yeah sure. But this is a very controversial thing actually. Well I think it is.

It's always great to give another person a second chance, but remember this: when you are giving that person a second chance, you are not only giving yourself and that person another chance at love, but you are also giving that person another chance to betrayed you. Just keep it in mind.

If I were you, I would give ur partner the 3-strike rule. strike 1, strike 2, and strike 3 you're OUT! No questions ask. You give him or her too many chances and if they continue to cheat after the 2nd time, it proves that he or she is not satisfied living with you.

But if you are still not letting him or her go after the 3rd time, the next time he or she would bring the one he or she is cheating on you with to your house and have coitus (sexual intercourse) right in front of you.

No, absolutely not.

Cheating in relationships is a recidivistic psychological behavior that goes beyond your relationship with him. If you allow him to use you, he'll gladly do it. People make mistakes, but nobody mistakenly cheats on another person.

"Oh hey honey, I mistakenly kissed her."

"I tripped over the carpet and suddenly we were having sex. Total accident babe, I swear."

Burn this quote into your mind as you continue to date people or consider going back to this guy:

"Never allow someone to be your priority while allowing yourself to be their option." - Mark Twain

Have pride in yourself. There are 6 billion people in the world. Go find someone that will respect you and don't settle for less.

Shit. Reading that quote hit me hard. It also tells me that I need to read more Mark Twain, because obviously he knows his shit. That was pretty much the story of my last relationship, and even though it was a pretty shitty one, I at least adamantly refused to give her a second chance when I found out she was fucking guys behind my back. Happens once? Shame on you. Happens twice? shame on me. Besides, the odds of finding a better woman are statistically in my favour, so why would I stick with someone's who's obviously not good enough when there's no good reason to?

Depends on the circumstance. Yes and no. White and brown. Black and blue. That sort of thing.

I agree! But there's nothing wrong for giving someone a second chance! After all, we are just an ordinary human being.
