source: music japan
Composition and text: kanako / Trans: Joana

--- Congratulations on your Major Debut as well as the release of [gr8 story]. Please tell us about your enthusiasm as well as your aims, now that you have accomplished this.

Takeru: I would like every one in Japan and the world to get really excited about our fashionable selves!

masato: I would like us to become a band which will stir some attention in Japan as well as in the world.

yuji: I want us to do this as a band for a looooong time!

Chiyu: From now on, I would like SuG to liven up the top of ORICON charts.

shinpei: I would like us to play at Nippon Budokan.

--- Within [gr8 story] the phrase [We betray ourselves just like we are], however, what kind of song has this become for you?

Takeru: It is a rather punkish, yet catchy track.

masato: It has become a cool song with a gorgeous POP appeal!

yuji: It has a become a casually stylish song with a good feeling to it.

Chiyu: With this song, we were able to really show the core of SuG

shinpei: The sound is so great it makes one cry.

---What were your first thoughts on the tie-up as the ending theme of [Katekyoushi HITMAN REBORN]?

Takeru: My heart struck a winner's pose-

masato: I was really moved!

yuji: It resulted in a dance of joy.

Chiyu: Finally a tie-up...

shinpei: We did it!!

---Have there been points in the song making and such, which strengthen the awareness of this song being a tie-up with an Anime? What would it be?

Takeru: I used the phrase [死ぬ気/Shinuki (lit.: A sense of death)]

masato: It is a song, which is easy to listen to, yet it still has become very colorful.

yuji: It's catchy either way.

Chiyu: Actually we had been aiming for the opening song (laughs)

shinpei: We wanted to make it easy to listen to and not get too caught up in difficult things.

--- Are you watching a lot of Anime? From the Anime you have watched so far please name your "Personal Best"!

Takeru
Anime: るろうに剣心/Rurouni Kenshin
Reason for your recommendation: It's all about Japanese warriors.

masato
anime: 君に届け/Kimi ni Todoke
Reason for your recommendation: It is really moving and its pureness really echoes deep within one's heart.
{awwwww! Masato <3 =] }

yuji
Anime: 行け!稲中卓球部/Ike!Inachuutakkyubu
Reason for your recommendation: There is a lot of sense to it.

Chiyu
Anime: 今日から俺は/Kyou kara Ore ha
Reason for your recommendation: It's THE Yankee Manga of all

shinpei
Animex: カイジ/Kaiji
Reason for your recommendation: yuji-kun's imitation of it is really funny!(laughs)

--- Last year in December you have been holding a live performance in Bangkok. Are there any countries in particular, where you would like to go from now on? Please tell us your reasons also.

Takeru
Country: New York, Macao
Reason:
NY: Because I like the New York interior style
Makao: Because I would like to just see it!

masato

Reason: I want to go there some time!

yuji

--- We're making a little shift here, since it is Valentine's Day pretty soon...Please tell us a memorable episode of one of your past Valentine's Days!

Takeru: I was a little troubled, when I was asked to give something to my brother (instead of getting something myself).

masato: During my school time, I would always get the obligatory chocolate, but it was never close to my favorites...

yuji: There was a time, when there had been Walnuts inside the chocolate, which I am allergic to.

Chiyu: Once I had been catching a cold that day and stayed at home, but I still received the chocolate there!

shinpei: I got some hand-made chocolate once, which was so hard that I couldn't even bite it.

--- At last, please leave a message for your overseas fans, please!

Takeru: I would really like to see more of the foreign culture, so please invite us your festivals.

masato: I would really like to visit many countries, so please keep yelling for us!

Yuji: Please try to come to Japan as well.

Chiyu: Let's share the music from all over the world!

Shinpei: Since we will only be able to come to your country with all your support, please strengthen the excitement for it to make it happen!
