Since this is an issue with the individual ISP and not a law laid upon ISPs nation/state-wide, you should be voting with your wallet rather than signing petitions.

If comcast experiences a lot of customers jumping ship, other ISPs will certainly take notice and be much more hesitant to jump onto the same failtrain that comcast is on.

Basically, comcast customers are paying full price for a limited product. I can hardly see any reason for sticking around unless they are the only option for intertubes in the middle of nowhere or you simply don't care about stuff like this.

Honestly Comcast is a crap service. My advice to anyone who uses them is that if there is another game in town that can get you high speed go with them, even if they cost more. I am unfortunately in an area where my only option for high speed is satellite internet (the tech is not there yet trust me) or comcast.

90% of torrent activity is basically someone doing something technically illegal so you have to except something like this sooner or later. People need to wake up and start taking their voting seriously. Especially the younger voters who seem to put the least amount of effort or thought into it these days especially considering this move by comcast is mostly aimed at them.
