When you say based in America, what exactly do you mean? Cuz this could be easy

First off, the Boondocks is not an anime! I'm really getting tired of hearing this.

Red Garden
Teen Titans
Code Lyoko
Marmalade Boy
Baccano
I'd like to say Afro Samurai, but that's wrong, and do you mean an anime who's setting is in America? Or an anime created in America?

Teen Titans and Code lyoko arn't animes either.

Teen Titans in a cartoon thats heavily influenced by anime. Don't ask me why it has a jap opening sometimes though...
Code lyoko is a french animated series.

Back on topic:

Parts of Eyeshield 21 are in America, and Major S4 and S5 are mostly in America.

Can't really name many other different ones atm.

"well the fact is all cartoons are anime to the Japanese. The only people not willing to admit it are the kids who been into anime for less than 8 years." Just like to normal Americans all Animated shows are cartoons no matter what age group their for. Think Heavy Metal. MAXX, and SPAWN.

But yes I am talking about Japanese cartoons..

An Teen Titans is not one of them.

"No one said Mad Bull 34 yet.. One of the best Cop anime based in New York made in 1990 to 1991."
Or the really old classic 'Candy' witch is about a orphan girl who is later adopted into a abusive family. Where she meets three brothers who become her life line in a way.

Those are to I was thinking everyone would have posted. Maby my age and length of time I been into J-anime is showing.
