The opposite of abnormal.

I type fairly 'hard', not for any particular reason though.

I think I press the keys lightly however others have diasgreed; probably because I type too fast thus do not give a toss about the decibel of my typing.

Although thanks to my new keyboard, the noise has toned down.

Depends on what I am doing.

If I'm just loitering about on the great tubes, I press them as hard as they require to do what they're made for.
If I'm programming or doing some intensive searching, I tend to hit them much harder - Especially the return/enter key. Might be a result of the increased pace of the typing.

I've chewed through two keyboards since 2003 or something like that. One fell victim to a cup of noodles and the other was just in the wrong place at the right time for a fistful of doom. In addition, I've discarded a Razer Reclusa keyboard in favor of a natural ergonomic 4000 but I still keep the razer around for emergencies.

I'm still trying to convert from hunt-and-peck typing to full 10-finger typing, but I forget to practice it regularly and thus its hard to get anywhere near my regular typing speed and/or precision.

I press it softly so my typing is faster.

Sometimes there's little bits of crumbs in my keyboard so at some letters I basically have to slam my finger on the key x).
