I would like to hear some opinions on what people think this word means either personally or socially.
Since I think I am incapable of having such an emotion because I have never felt something strong for anyone in my life, I would to know what people think because I am having trouble understanding it myself.

So, all in all, what do you think love is?

Love is patient and kind. Love knows neither envy nor jealousy. Love is not forward and self-assertive, nor boastful and conceited.

personally, i think love can't be described.

Love is an action. Love is a special kind of caring, among other things.

Also people, there are different types of love, and not all have the 'fluffy feeling' going on 24/7. It's not like you'll absolutely die if you don't see the person you love for one minute, either. Doesn't work that way.

Love should be infinite.
real. no room for faults.
everlasting romance with your soul mate.

Love is:

- Not being able to get the person off your mind.
- Getting butterflies when they enter the room
- Obliviously ignoring others when your together
- It can make your day or bring it crashing down to a new low.

It can also be a horrible thing.

To me,

Love is when you enjoy spending time with that person, and understand when they need alone time.

When you are sometimes jealous if a boy/girl is talking to the person you love, but understand it's nothing more than friendship between them and when you do not try to make them give up their friends if you feel threatened by their friends.

Accepting every fault that the person you love has, and realizing that you cannot change how they are, still accept everything that makes them who they are. (it doesn't mean that you have to like it, just accept it as a part of them)

Waking up and looking at each other each new day, as if you have seen each other for the first time, and cherishing the little things.

Knowing that the more you love someone, the more pain you will feel as well, but still over-coming every obstacle together and enjoying every precious moment, then looking back and realizing how far you have come and how strong you have become as a couple.

A peaceful, warm, gentle feeling that makes you feel as if everything will be okay, no matter how hard the times get, a security of knowing you can lean on that person and they will support you through it all, and that you are willing to let them lean on you as well when they aren't doing so well.

(to name a few things)
