It was a huge mindfuck, but I kinda enjoyed it.
Could have been better, and shorter too.

It's a paranoia movie, rife with guilty secrets, nightmare visions and gothic horrors.
I was so confused throughout the whole movie... Until the end.
Shutter Island isn’t one of those simple “love it” or “hate it” movie experiences – this is one of those films that makes you go, “Hmmmm…”
Though this movie was NOT what I was expecting. The dream sequences were the best I've seen for a long time. It's definitely a Sixth Sense type of movie, but the material matter is much more horrific and perverse. I highly recommend it, if you have a strong stomach for human tragedy / :

What did you think after watching it?

Thought it would bore me out. It's pretty long.. but every scene made me curious. And you're right 'bout that part "...this movie was NOT what I was expecting. The dream sequences were the best I've seen for a long time" REALLY did not see that coming!

And I was like "ahhhh" and "awwww" at the end.

Also liked what he said at the end of the movie.

Yeah, It's sort of easy to guess once you get to the middle parts.
Creeped me out till the very end.

I've been studying a little bit of Psych this past semester and I totally get why the wife would be like that.

Yeah, I was guessing that'd be the reason too. However, the fact that she'd go as far as the extent to kill her own kids kind of blew me off pondering a little with other assumptions... But yeah, seeming from the few scenes she appeared in, there wouldn't be much other reasons for her actions. Sure left me devastated, but it's sad too - i guess, in a way.

Haha, anyways, thanks for sharing 'bout that ; -)

lol, yeah. But i don't think they'd explain everything fully to the extent that everyone would get it if they made it any shorter.
Though it was quite a long movie ~!

Yeah. But I really wasn't surprised with what she did. After all she's bound to do crazy stuff in her state of mind. It's just truly sad.

I watched this when it just came out a while back. It was good i thought it was definitely scorsese, and we all know how he do, little messing with the mind business. The effects were awesome Also the plot was hellaz yeah!! towards the end i was all what the fook its over?? :'( cuz it puzzled and intrigued me ^^ but I gotta say it wasn't one of his best if it really came down to it BUT still an awesome watch, it had you on the edge the whole time. This movie is great if you're lovin thriller/ suspense mystery movies!! :D:D
