How Many Earphones Have You Gone Through?

Great question :D

I think I got my first headphone on 6th grade (1). Then my first CD Player (2), didn't like it and bought a different one (3). On freshman year, I got my first iPod video with a earphone that came with it (4.) and broke it so I bought a new one (5). Then, during P.E time, my iPod was stolen along with the headset. A month later, I bought an iPod Nano and a new earphone was with it (7), then of course, I broke it so I bought another one (8). I remember breaking that and bought a cheap one (9), I didn't like the sound quality so I bought another one (10). However, when I was walking, the earphone dropped from my ear and I accidentally stepped on it, another earphone gone, well of course, bought another one (11). This one lasted quite long... Anyway, I got into Skype, so I bought a Mic+Headphone combo (12). But I broke this one, so I bought a Logitech one (13). For my iPod Nano, my friend gave me a new earphone with great sound quality, a retail price of over $130 (14), but my cousin borrowed it and never returned it. Because the songs on my iPod Nano were getting old, I lost interest with it and my iPod Nano eventually broke... I bought a PSP this time, and it came with an earphone (15). I didn't really like it. A year later, the iPod Touch came out, so bought one and an earphone was with it (16). I hated iPod's earphone so I bought another earphone (17). Then, my new puppy nibbled on it and it was destroyed. So I bought another one (18) but my sister lost it. Now, I bought a Bose headphone (19), however, I moved out and forgot to bring it with me. Eventually, I lost my iPod Touch and I bought a new iPod Touch 3rd Gen, well of course, with its own earphone and mic (20). Lastly, I bought a separate earphone this time, a Bose in-earphone (21). Those two are still alive!

Ladies and gentlement, I had 21 so far.

Whoa, dude!! You keep track of each and every single one? xD

But I might have gone through just as many...it's well over 20 I'm sure. I always ended up leaving my iPod (and currently, my mp3 player...don't have my iPod nano anymore, long story.) in weird places & the headphones would get completely demolished and I'd end up having to buy new ones all the time.

Let me see...

I've went through about 5 or 6 in 5 years.

I kept getting an iPod every year and I would always turn the volume up way too high and I end up busting a side.
Then there was that one time when our house got robbed and someone took the iPod with the headphones. Honestly....
So, I think I'm doing good so far.

It sounds like some of you are listening to music way too loud. Protect your hearing!

Anyways, I currently have about 5 or 6 pairs of headphones. Grado SR325i, Audio-Technica ATH-ES7, Yuin G2A, Grado SR80, JVC FXC50, and a couple no name stuff that I just throw around. Yes, I do use them all. There's a time and place to use each of them.

Before these, I've gone through maybe 2 others in the past few years. No, they didn't break. I sold them. Before that, I owned maybe 2 or 3 different headphones during high school.

There was a stretch where I went through 5 headphones in a month. 3 of them were maxwell headphones, 1 was an iPod headphone, and the other was a $60 noise canceling headset.

I'm sticking to boomboxes now.

1 set of headphones, and maybe 5 or 6 earphones/earbuds. They were really cheap, so it's understandable.

I have two headsets--one for my desktop and one for my laptop. It has been about 4 years since I bought them but neither has broken yet. You guys must have been sleep-walking quite a bit to have gone through so many

I've only had my iPod earphones for my whole history of earphones. However, the left one seems to have lost its sound.
