Global Shinkai Day 2010

Hey guys,

It's almost time for the cherry blossoms to be in bloom and that means it's time for Global Shinkai Day! Global Shinkai Day is a world-wide online film festival featuring the films and works of CoMix Wave Films Director/Creator extraordinaire Makoto Shinkai. This year promises to be even bigger and better than last year. Global Shinkai Day 2010 will again be brought to you by Crunchyroll, CoMix Wave Films and Cherry Blossoms Falling. We will be presenting 5 Centimeters per Second, Place Promised in our Early Days, Voices of a Distant Star for a 48 hour period starting on Friday, March 5th at 5pm PST and ending on Sunday, March 7th at 5pm PST. Shinkai-san's films will be available to stream for "FREE" during that period to EVERYONE (except those in Japan).

Over on Cherry Blossoms Falling there will be several contests occurring with Makoto Shinkai autographed movie posters as prizes.
