But one of the negative things about us is that most people are just TOO proud (just like this thread..Bakit the best ang mga Filipino? ) inemphasize ko lang po ang best to raise my point. Di naman sa sinasabi kong wag tayong maging proud na Pilipino tayo and wag ikabuti ng loob ang mga good qualities na mapapansin sa karamihan sa atin ng mga banyaga, ang akin lang, wag naman po tayong masyadong proud na sasabihin pa na Filipinos are the BEST... because that might cause a commotion(at present and in the future) with foreign people and make them think that Filipinos are claiming that they are above all other nationalities... declaring that they are better than all of them in many aspects(like Filipinos are better than XXXXX because they have better grammar/ speak english fluently... that Filipinos are better than XXXX because they bla bla bla and so on)... . I have read in some sites a few things regarding some foreigners discussing about 'filipinos being TOO proud when... this and that.. <then enumerating the bad qualities some Filipinos have>'.. I hope we can minimize it by us not being SO overwhelmed by our known good qualities as Filipinos. Wag naman po natin masyadong buhatin ang ating sariling bangko' Coz if otherwise, that way of Filipinos being proud may seem as boasting to others.

The good qualities we have is just a generalization. MOSTof us are, but please also bear in mind that NOT ALL of us are like this and like that (having those good qualities)

and hindi ko rin po to sinasabi sa mga taong nagpost na contadictory sa thread na to. this is applicable to those people who are just oh so too proud. if it's not applicable to you, then wag ka sanang matamaan
