The GBA is still one of my favorite systems for RPGs. Golden Sun, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, Pokemon, Riviera, Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga, and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow are some of my favorites.

I'm gonna have to agree with a lot of people when they say the Golden Sun series. The best RPG on the GBA hands down (and that's saying something because FFVI is my favorite game :P). The music was amazing, the characters were amazing, even the graphics were pretty damn good for a GBA game. Everything about the game was just... phenomenal.
