well, i guess it's almost girl oriented...but there are alot of qualities of this anime that fits with both genders...so no, guys are more than welcome to watch it!

i agree, it seems a bit girl oriented, seeing as the main character is a girl and all...

i dunno i think both genders could enjoy it,

my motto is if u enjoy watching it, just watch it,
geez don't worry about those things....

Who gives a shit? Anime or any show for that matter is for everyone, regardless of it's target audience. You liked it, right? So even if it turns out to be a girls show, you should be a man and be able to say you watched it and you're proud. Make Sponge Bob your mentor on this one, he was able to scream: "I'm ugly and I'm proud!". Don't worry about labels ok? If people end up thinking you're girly or something for watching it who gives a shit? They just don't know what they're missing. Hey I'm a 20 year old guy and I'm watching it without second thoughts. So don't be a wimp, raise your head and be proud to be a fan!

i dont think that it really matters if the target audience are girs, right? as long as youike it then it shouldent matter what other people say about it. just be proud of the fact the you can admit thet you liked the show. and will keep on likeing it and watchint because you like it so much.

i may not be a guy but i know this much becays i can admit to all my friends the i can speek and sing some japanese things when i am Amercian. so dont think about it too much and just be yourself. and dont think about what other people say.

First of all, I wish you luck becoming a patissier! Secondly, even though I'm a girl, I watch what I like, and so should you.

Well this anime is considered to be shoujo genre, meaning that it is in fact a girly anime, but it simple means that its focused audience are girls (that doesn't mean that only girls can watch it).

I have a friend (who is a guy), that watches plenty of shoujo anime (like shugo chara and skip beat), he hasnt watch this anime in particular but he plans to.

I encourage you even more to watch this anime since you can actually relate to it.

I don't really think it's that girly. I know like heaps of guy friends that watch Shugo Chara, and that's like wayy girlier. So it shouldn't even matter.
And anyway, maybe this could help you with your dream
