ha ha ha ha no we have not won a war since ww2 and we had to rely on allies and nukes to win that.

The only reason we used a nuke during WWII is because we either had the choice to end the war right then and there with a nuclear weapon, or spend another pointless year invading japan while wasting resources and soldiers that could be used on the European front.

And I think the U.S. will still be a superpower in the years to come. Equipment is huge, but morale serves a huge part in a military, and the U.S. military soldiers are under huge morale. (Propaganda mostly)

Not exactly. Say you have a bunker with 4 soldiers with 2 of them on mounted MG's . Put 100 soldiers against them and most likely, the people in the bunker would win. using mass amounts of people doesn't always work.

Not really, when the fact of the matter is that Chinese military just don't have enough naval support to transport their troop amass. Plus if they decide to do something that stupid like mobilizing their massive manpower to invade the US soil, it's gonna flare up the many satellites in geostationary orbit above the Chinese territory like Forth of July. After that is only a matter of picking out their ships with the US Navy submarine committee, when the Pacific Ocean floor is seeded with sonar relays for research purpose, can be used as listening posts for anti-sub defense.

yes that would work but you are forgetting the fact that China holds more than 60% of America's debt in it's hand and produces most of the worlds goods as well, imagine china cutting off all of those resources to the world and keeping it to themselves. America would have to comply in some way because in a sense they own us.

I just don't see that as a problem somehow. When ultimately China is responsible to support the developing nations with its economy. And any good businessman should know just how important it is to keep his customers happy.

If we were to test our self with china in a war we may lose against China. People really do not consider this it is vast manufacturing base with plenty of resource. China has a vast military unlike the USA and we do not really know how high tech it is. We would have to rely on nukes to win this this war. And if we are relying on old missiles to get the job done I would surprised if half fired right. meaning leaving the tube getting the second stage to fire off right. This problem has been under the rug for a long time. we have a Commander and Chief butt kisser in charge right now. we owe the world 14 trillion dollars. war is going to happen just when our economy can handle all the wast coming out of DC world wide depression wars start that way.

Our military budget is over 14 times as much as China's. They do have a much larger population, but they definitely don't have a larger military:

You really must not keep up with world events if you think the U.S military isn't large.

I think hes referring to the raw number of soldiers in the militaries. # of Chinese soldiers > # of US Soldiers. Or at least I believe it is.

And isn't a vastly significant portion of our budget going to fund the war ? If not for the war it would be significantly less. Wars are expensive, get used to it.

The $419 billion in the link i posted doesn't include the $250+ billion that is being used to fund the wars. If you include that amount, our budget is over 22 times as large as China's.

I didn't say anything about the cost of war or anything else about the wars we're in, I just pointed out that the U.S military budget is much larger than China's. Our military is much larger despite the fact that they outnumber us in terms of number of soldiers, which doesn't matter much in modern warfare.

That is true, our military budget is much larger. But is that really such a problem ? Its being used for your defense.
