Going Braless
Posted 3/12/10
I used to not wear a bra a lot, and I knew there was gonna be some "oohs" and "ahs" but the reaction was ridiculous.
I expected guys to stare and I didn't really care. I wasn't not wearing a bra because I wanted their attention. I liked the freedom I felt when I didn't wear one (I'm a 60s and 70s freak.) I liked the idea of not conforming to society's rules in some way that really stood out.

The girls were the ones who gave me the trouble. I got called a skank a lot and was constantly asked by many of them in an obnoxious manner why I wasn't wearing one. And I'm just like, "Why the hell do you care? It's my life. I'll live it how I want to."

I eventually stopped mostly because of the comments, but also because of the way going braless was treating my boobs after a few weeks.

I want to know what the big deal is. Is it really only just because it's so out of the ordinary these days? Or is there some other reason I should know about? I just think people need to mind their own damn business.

(No dirty pics.)

I really don't know what to say, I once saw a lady without a bra, and it isn't that pretty of a sight in my opinion. Its like, over a vast desert there's 2 mountain peaks standing out of the smooth landscape. It just stands out and people will see and they will judge. Because society has developed into what is normal and what isn't, what is common and what isn't. You may be fine with going braless but the bigger majority of human beings don't. And bras do give you the support, without them, they'd lose their shape and get saggy.

Ewww to saggy boobs =(

Those threads aren't related to this topic =T

I don't feel comfortable being braless in public cause I'm afraid my breast would sag I don't have a large bust, but I still don't like taking chances with my boobs. I'll be braless when i'm naked at home but only for a short while.

I don't like bras but I wear bras all the time.
It prevents saggy boobs.
You'll regret not wearing it when you're thirty and your boobs have that rock in a sock thing going on.

How are they not related, both question the rights of women and men. Going around shirtless among isn't socially accepted, and men wearing bras is just .. sexy in its own way. Both intend to break the barrier of sexism.

It's mainly related towards women going braless under their shirt if you read carefully. if it was about guys, then she'd mention it in her question. then you can report it :3

Yes it is mainly towards women, but the 'shirtless' thread is aimed at women as well. they're not directly related in a sense that they do not compare between both female's and male's 'do's' and 'don'ts' because only one thread does, but they're related because they question the norm of basic difference in appearances between male and female in terms of attire. Women in general don't go around without their shirts nor without their bras, and such threads question the basic fundamentals that our concept of normality is built on.

Still it's not enough to get this thread locked honestly. Just wait & see what the mods say.

I never reported this thread, it need not be locked anyway, sure they both are similar in terms of where the response will lead but they're no where near being dupes.
I predict that this will receive similar responses as the 'shirtless' thread, perhaps this one will have more content than just sexual arousal among men.

Oh I thought you were planning to report it o.0 mkay. & yeah I get the feeling more sexual content will hit this thread soon as well. that's common here on Crunchyroll

I'm not fat and I'm not skinny, and I don't think it looked bad when seen with the rest of my body. According to the guys who saw (specifically my old boyfriend,) it looked pretty damn good. And it worked for Farrah Fawcett who people still find attractive to this day (the '70s Farrah. Not the one who's now dead.)

And I understand that not everyone likes it. But I feel they need to be more open minded and not constantly bothering me when I'm trying to live my life the way I choose to. What does that say about other people? It says THEY don't have lives. And I don't think THAT'S normal.

As for my boobs getting saggy because of it -- that was one reason I decided to wear one again. But one of these days, I may go back to going braless, anyway. It felt great, and the only reason it was affecting my boobs at the time (in a way I won't specify) was because of the fabric of my shirts.
