Today I learned how turning down a job offer can be a really intimidating experience. I mean, after selling yourself in that one interview...acing all the questions and giving off a pleasant enough vibe as well as giving away that vibe of "I REALLY NEED THIS JOB PLEASE ACCEPT ME THANKS" can be really unsettling.
But you gotta do what you gotta do, right?
So I made a phone call, stuttered, messed up in introducing myself, but I got the point across. The lady on the phone sounded a smite annoyed, probably borderline cross, but I just had to do it.
There's no way I can accommodate myself to that job after knowing the particulars...and given my personal situation right now, it's hopeless.
I'm scared shitless, but I did it anyways. I now feel relief.

Well, I tried Ethiopian food for the first time today. It was a new experience, and a good one.
The sourdough bread resembled crepes, and we were supposed to only use our fingers instead of utensils. The food is communal and shared, on a large platter.
