Sometimes artists pick up the idea from one place and forget where they hear it from thus leading them to believe they thought up the idea. Plagiarism is illegal. (If they were actually copying someone else's song it would be illegal.) Using the same stock track isn't illegal. Stock tracks are pieces of music that anyone can use to base their own music from. No more arguments, kay?

Kpop artist are using songs other know already because they know people will like because they heard the beat or a song that sound like that so before. Like F.Cuz G.O. sound like SNSD Genie. You can find like 3 or 4 but the rest are all original. Jpop is what? Staying with the cute concept for girls.. the guy groups look like uncles.. the new guy groups are following the footsteps of the uncle groups (The solo artists are alright though.)

Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 4/19/10 emm i guess they are not really copying. maybe they just used the same beat. copying is that you take the whole of the songs. i listen to all types of music from Chinese to Japanese to Korean to American to British to Spanish to Indonesian (u name it) sometimes unexpectedly the music sounds alike but no one copying anybody. however if it sounds too similar it might have the possibilities that the composer is plagiarizing oth peeps works. just an opinion, no offence.

When is Kpop gonna stop but stupid part about it is the fans. They defend them and jump on the original artist and the choreographer. Kpop has some of the stupidest fans ever.
