But still, you know what we are.... we are copycats ! (no offense, coz it's true) And by that you pips know what I am: a freak slave easily-controlled by other cultures, and obviously a cultured American freak in this case (not that Americans are freaks, but still, America is the Land of the Free... and their culture really sweeps me off my feet). Still, proud to be Pinay! Even if I gaze at the American flag (and the Saudi Arabian one too! ), I'm proud of my heritage... and of the place where the heroes could be anywhere (OFW, Rizal Monument, etcetera), ang aking lupang sinilangang Pilipinas. MABUHAY ang PILIPINAS! Mabuhay ang mga Pilipino!!! @Drifter: damn, you're right! But forget about those stuffs; we still own ourselves. Noynoy is the lead now, there's a chance for a better future. @Volksgrenadier: You're cool, dude !

Yes, I am proud...just being me, I like the culture and i'm probably more filipino than some of the full blooded filipino people i know(theyr'e trying to be whiter for some reason). However, in other words, Pride, especially racial pride is not a good thing. Think of the Nazis in Germany...they had a ton of Pride. It's good to be different but not superior. I know some people who think they are better than everyone else, (think KKK).those guys creep me out. Putting that aside, we all have something in common that no one really ever thinks about, death. Everyone dies eventually and then we're all the same. We came out of the dust and to the dust we shall return. Eventually our bodies will cease to exist after they have rotted away and then we are all equal. pro-equality
