Anyway, to answer your question, the Anime stops around volume 8 or so of the manga if I remember correctly. The manga gets much darker than the Anime ever does. Tohru only meets a few members of the zodiac in the Anime, but in the manga she eventually meets all of them. You find out who Tohru ends up with and what ends up happening with the curse. And Tohru's mom is really, really, really, really important in the manga's plot. The Anime only scratches the surface of her importance. I really wish the Anime could be redone to follow the manga more closely. The manga is really good; I rate it as one of the best manga I've ever read. IF you can find all of it, it is worth reading.
