How do you pay for all this stuff. Preventive care here most people will not see a doctor until there hurting. Social security is going belly up medicare is may last ten more years. Most of the cost will be shifted to the states. What government program have you seen work well and efficiently. Your National Debits over thirteen trillion how do you think is going to pay.

The best and most rational prevention on sickness is to be proactive on health with wellness lifestyle choice, IMO.

And I'm not here for your scare tactics, or do you think that Chicken Little was an optimist?

Medical costs need controls?

Which medical personnel willing for a pay cut then?

Hospitals charge you for everything.
The pillow.
The tv you barely watch with limited channels.
Even the ambulance who rushed you to the hospital.
Separate pay.

This bill does nothing good. Honestly what if Republicans passed legislation forcing everyone to buy a private service? I'm sure the media and the left would call them nothing but politicians looking out for the rich and buying into big business... This healthcare bill means that a bureaucrat gets to dictate the care you receive, healthcare will be rationed to cut costs, and everyone is forced to pay more or pay a fine. This was such a foolish decision. America needs to WAKE UP in November and vote these Democrats out of office. America is sick with a disease, and it's caused by these politicians festering in their seats. November needs to hurry up

We had a big discussion on this in my world issues class today, and my teacher and everyone else says the bill has some faults but still brings universal health care, so everyone will now have health care. And that's what some news sources have been saying as well.

It doesn't bring universal health care, it brings universal health insurance. But this means you are forced to pay for something regardless of if you want it or not. Not everyone will have healthcare, predictions state even less may have it because prices are going to go up and fines and taxes are going to be taken out. The truth is that it rations healthcare and gives the government and insurance companies more power over who lives and dies. Regardless, the majority of America did not want this bill, and our representatives did not represent us. It would be the same as if Canada passed a bill that gave businesses the right to become monopolies and argued that it would be good for the economy even when the majority of Canadians don't want it. The American people by and large are angry with our government, they are catering to thug style politics. Even my representative voted for this. My city is more conservative, most of us didn't want this bill. However, our Democrat congressman voted for it because he is retiring and has nothing to lose. He ignored us and essentially abused the power we elected for him to have. Many people were smacked in the face by their congressman.

And who says that didn't happened already? When my hometown just finished hosting the biggest monopolistic entitlement scam, that's been traveling around the world for a long time as the Five Ring Circus.

So the Texas Republican who shouted out "baby killers" was the only true representatives of the people? I wonder just who does he truly represents.

He was a representative of the truly pro-life Americans. The fact is that the majority didn't want this, and those who were elected to represent us decided to patricianly vote in favor of legislation that people don't want. The only bipartisan thing was the opposition to the bill. It's wrong what happened, congress serves its own interests and not the people's and this is a blow to democracy.

Gee, and here I thought that the Republicans didn't wanted this bill to pass because they don't want to burden the future generation. So what's the deal now that there could very well won't be a future generation to worry about. When today's youths are just so entitled with their lifestyle choice, there's no need for them to have families nor make babies.

The Republicans don't want this bill for many wise reasons. The truth I have stated over and over is that the American people got ignored and we are forced to have legislation that we don't support. Our representatives betrayed us and voted along partisan lines instead of representing their constituents. Today's youths are too entitled, most don't know what it means to work hard and they expect someone to give them everything in life. I think that's one of the main factors that is causing declines and especially a decline in education.

This is why I asked you "what's your thought and feeling on altruism's worth? In other words name your price for universal health care coverage for all, and be realistic about it."

My price? I think all life is precious, including that which has not been born yet. This bill doesn't offer universal healthcare, in fact it hurts others with insurance. You haven't addressed the fact that the majority of America does not want this bill, yet our representatives voted for it. That is wrong, and sure enough the American people are furious about this.

digs i really don't have a feeling any way or the other on what was passed because I just wanted medicare for all that people would have to pay into themselves but that is just me =_=, on side notes I have never read so much hate in other forums saying that "we need to kill obama", "that n***** fu**** us over", " A bunch of women, ni**** and people under 22 got together and voted in a ni*** leftist president.
Now I'm going to be fined for not needing health insurance.u mad? Yes, yes I'm mad." I would go on but what's the point.

This bill makes cuts to medicare. And American's are furious, I saw more hatred towards Bush than every towards Obama. If Obama dies we are stuck with the other idiot Joe Biden. What we need to do is impeach him and vote all the Democrats out. America is furious at how we were treated by our treacherous politicians, the hatred of a few who act immaturely doesn't delegitimize this. We can repeal this if we elect them out and impeach Obama while destroying this illegal bill in the courts. Right now the stock for insurance companies has skyrocketed in value, this bill is so bad for America. As a student it also affects me because the government also just took over student loans in this bill. I don't want Obama to die, I want him to change. However, I don't see him actually caring about the American people who didn't support this bill.

So safe sex via aborting contraception during sexual intercourse is a waste? When every time people having sex is a possibility of creating an unborn life.

Also, you're the one who keeps avoiding the fact that why people didn't want this bill to pass, simply because some constituents wanted a different bill. One that will further violate the individual legal rights of how private health insurance companies should do their business. For that would be considered as socialism or even worst, communism.

Yeah, I say you're right on the count that the Republicans are doing their job at preventing the US becoming a socialist or even a communist society. But even when their constituents are getting more money form this bill, just who are getting played by the Republicans?
