I wonder if there's any chance Keroro finally making it in. Sunrise now has series here, like Gundam Wing, and Tv Tokyo also has a lot of series here. Both Shugo Chara and Hitman Reborn, which air right before and after Keroro, are shown by Crunchyroll too, but yet... no Keroro...

Oh, well, I'm hoping for Keroro making it in once again, now that the 7th season is about to start. It's one of my favorite animes, so getting official subs that go beyond the 1st year would be great.

Funimation has rights to it though, so CR getting it is extremely slim (unless a deal is made with Funimation). I'd like to see it here aswell, but it just isn't going to happen...

doubt it funimation streams its anime on its own site so we'll prolly never see any anime funimation holds the rights to on CR.

The only way I can see it happening is if a deal is done between the 2 companies, which won't happen unless Funimation gets of their high horse and drops its grudge against CR.

At the bare minimum, a benefit Funimation could get out of that is a decent video player... Their current one is one of the worst on the internet (Hulu's isn't too good either).

Good news
But I hope that some of the new anime will be released to Europe too ( For me, Italy)
In the past season there was only 1 over 7 simulcasts

Koihime Musou III at least...

It seems likely, since the previous 2 have been here. Although that has more to do with the company showing a willingness to license on terms acceptable to CR. There is always a chance that could change (i.e., new management at the rights holding company), but it makes for good odds.

As to the problems with the low number of series licensed for other countries, you can probably lay the blame for this in most cases at the foot of the company holding the rights. Either they prefer to make separate deals for each country or region, or simply want to much for a more broad international license.

This no doubt causes a Catch-22 situation, where due to the low number of titles available internationally, CR sees fewer paid subscriptions, which means a lower number of international subscribers, which means less funding to purchase more international licenses.

I also wonder what the situation is regarding non-member (ad supported) videos in other countries. Few advertisers are interested in international ads, so I am curious if those in other regions see different ads than those in the U.S. If not, that effectively means CR would be serving those videos for free. This would make international memberships even more important than in the U.S..

Short version: It is all about the money.

Looking forward for Mayoi Neko Overun! for the ecchi title this time around. Yes, I know that Kiss x Sis is far more ecchi, but even for me, an ecchi fan, its far too much fanservice without much plot development.

That said, I'll watch anything that pops up.
